I really love this casting, with the exception of Sam Worthington..... because he's just a terrible actor.

While I've always thought that Ventimiglia would make for a great Nightwing, I could definitely see him as Terry (though he's probably too old now).

Funny all the talk about Clint Eastwood. As I understand it before "Batman Beings" was given the green light there was serious talk about a "Batman Beyond" movie and his name was mentioned most for the role of Bruce Wayne. On a side note I like the casting choices but the guy you picked for Terry looks a little old to be in high school. :)

@LibraGamesUnlimited Thanks. Milo is a little old to be McGuiness but I was thinking that Terry could be a bit older and in college. Or just don't acknowledge his age or what kind of school he's attending.

@MisterMeddle Oh okay in that case I guess it would work. I mean if there are not younger actors who could pull it off (and I have no idea if there are or not, can't even name any off hand :) ). I guess there would be some merit in making him older.

@MisterMeddle It *would make more sense if he were in college. I find the notion of a 14 - 18 yr old super hero (especially one w/o any real powers) highly unlikely.

@LibraGamesUnlimited In Batman Beyond Terry is 17 so he's in the 3rd High School year close to 18 (maturity) so with a bit of makeup that guy will fit perfectly :) I just wonder what's the name of this Batman theme remix?

@DarknessMaster55 Maybe it's the pic but he looks closer to 30 than 20 and Terry is a little less physically filled out than this guy looks :)

Great casting ideas, but I would have Clint Eastwood as Old Bruce Wayne. Just watch Gran Torino. Eastwood still has it of his age, like Old Bruce.

@nightwing4077 Thanks. Due to the obvious reasons Keaton is my no. 1 pick. But knowing the possibility of him having little interest in reprising his role of the true Dark Knight, Clint Eastwood is definitely my number two pick. I too watched Gran Torino and his personality related to the old Bruce Wayne of the animated series.

In the Dark Knight, the bat suit can already do all the things in Beyond so they would have to reinvent the suit and come up with some new stuff not seen in previous suits.

@venian646 That's something that annoyed me about TDK suit; it was too high tech for a Bruce Wayne Batman, especially for something that takes place in our time & society. A Batman Beyond suit would be a lightweight liquid armor as flexible as fabric with micro chips inside to provide energy and to detect Terry's physical health. The cowl would be a helmet with the eyes protected w/lenses. They could be used as binoculars or as X ray goggles. && mini batarangs to shoot out of the gauntlets.

@venian646 They could leave the suit design ( but get rid of the cape ) and paint the belt white and the bat symbol red, then they could make a full head, mouth included helmet with eye lenses like Spider-Man's but smaller. As for tech, he can't shoot Batarags from his rists nor can he become invizible, fly (in the movie he just glinds) or record conversations. So there are lots of things they can add to the suit

i think that after the dark knight rises, if done right this would be a fantastic movie, it may be a character that many have never heard of, as he created purely for the animated series but since then terry has become a character within the comic book world and was revealed to be bruces (sort of) biological son :L at its heart the story is fantastic imo so i would kill to see a beyond movie. I would be specificly interested in how nolan could make the concept of the future work :D

Adam West is at a better age to play the aging Wayne. He would just have to play the character serious without the camp.

@Thom817 Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond really resembled Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne. A dark, antisocial tortured soul with much aggression inside. Adam West needs much more than age to qualify.

@MisterMeddle I do believe Adam West as an actor can portray a variety of characters including tortured souls. His experience and age more than qualifies him for the part.

I loved Michael Keaton as Batman but I don't think he's quite old enough to play the Batman Beyond Bruce Wayne yet.
