The Marshal asks what are the first 10 Amendments all about? Don't they grant rights to the People?

No,Mr. Marshal, the Bill of Rights were not a grant of rights from government to the People. They are a notice to the government from the People that thet claim these rights, among others, inherently belong to the People as free men and women; that they are NOT grants from the government, or they would be mere privileges, not rights; and that the government shall not invade those rights.

I wouldn't call what Ed has said "threats" since he's only promised to defend his property in accordance with the law. Perhaps he made further claims recently I didn't hear about. I'm not ready to judge his actions in response to his case thus far, as his isolation is a form of psychological torture. Unlike most martyrs, he has to live with the knowledge of what he's sacrificed every day. Also, he's not seeing any benefits, aside from the verbal support of some Americans.

I think there is coming a day when it will be the only option for "the people" to use violence that has been used against them for so long. Freedom is not free, it is purchased with the blood and sweat of patriots. I hope it does not come to that but my hopes are not high.

The people, even the judges and police, need to learn the original law again.

What we need is to lay-off 75% of beauraucrats and 90% of politicians, decide what's needed and what's not, and then post job openings for those positions that are useful - those not hired can get busy growing hemp, be creative and come up with something else, or apply at Wendy's.
