I've been obsessed with The Field Mice since forever - I'm so glad they have fans other than me! You can definitely hear their influences in their songs, but unlike a lot of bands, they're not a copy, they're a whole new sound.

@MrMUGS94 No problem! ;-) Listen for example to the song "Pet Sounds" from The Beach Boys or to Dick Dale & The Del Tones "Misirlou". It's like playing in a big hall. If you listen to "Down by the water" from The Drums you can hear the extreme reverb when he sings very loud and suddenly stops. You here then the lingering sound of the effect.
