Fantastic job! Carefully selected your clips, superb! Near the end I thought I was going to comment that I really enjoyed watching it, but that I missed Keke Rosberg going flat out through Eau Rouge, but voila, there it was at 4.02 :P
@Juihi: Great video mate! @Everybody: I was lucky to be born in 81 and be old enough to see the golden era of F1 with Senna, Mansell, Prost, Alesi, Hill, Villeneuve, Schumaker and so on. I'm a forever fan of Ayrton Senna. First for being brazilian and really know what he was on and off the track, how many people he helped in Brazil. Watch the Top Gear - Ayrton Senna tribute and hear the statement he gives at the end... "Senna was spectacular every single time he was in a car..." So true. Cheers!
Something needs to happen in F1 to bring that excitement back, since Alonso won his Second World Chmapionship with Renault, i feel F1 has went on a downward spiral, although still brilliant to watch.
well dennisdaniel86.....no it died when bernie and his hunger for dollars killed F1.....F1 was a sport for man with balls......he turned it into a ferrari show.....he even pulled some muscle to get Jean Todt president of de FIA!!!! thank you verry much!!! ferrari giving team orders?????? the whole freaking world saw and heared it...but heeeyyyyy the FIA says there's no proof......

Great tribute! And I agree with tpg81, the 3 top greatest drivers ever (voted by more than 200 racing drivers some time ago) together in a camera shot at 0:08 - 0:18
To those who want to 'spice' up the show, watch this video. It shows it was in fine shape before Mosley and his mob fucked it up forever. It is enough to bring you to tears.
@jonathanpah That's Monza 1969. First is Jackie Stewart in his Ken Tyrrell-entered Matra-Ford 00.080 seconds ahead of Jochen Rindt's Lotus-Ford who is just ahead of Jean-Pierre Beltoise's Tyrrell-entered Matra-Ford and Bruce McLaren's McLaren-Ford. Fifth was Piers Courage in his Frank Williams-entered Brabham-Ford. Pedro Rodriguez was sixth in his BRM. Less than two years later four of those six drivers would be deceased.
Bella! Truly inspiried depiction of the need for speed and the beauty of the sporting enterprise. Perhaps the best 5 minute synopsis of F1 I have ever seen; the essence of Grand Prix Motor Racing.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
F1 (and this video too) without Schumacher is nothing... How could u make this video without the best moments of the best formula 1 driver who has ever lived in this world? It is disgusting... who is an Alonso or a Hamilton against Schumacher? Nobody

It is really a shame that the fields in the old days used to be packed. Racing seemed faster and closer. Unlike today which have small fields and alot of politics. I agree with Nigel Mansell. Lewis Hamilton's championship does not have as much weight because of this fact.
Some unforgetable moments: 1:02 - 1:04: Senna in Monaco 2:43: Schumacher crashes on Hill (Australia) 2:46 - 2:50: the battle between Prost and Senna (Japan, 89 and 90). 3:00: Mansell lose the championship. 3:32: Jackie Stewart, the king. 3:33 - 3:34: Senna and his very best in Monaco, after Louis. 3:59: Mika overtakes Schumi at Spa. 4:06 - 4:08: Senna x Mansell (Spain). 4:31: Gilles legend!!! 4:40: Reaction of Ron Dennis at first victory of Senna in Brazil 4:44: Gilles the legend
