One of the best B-movies I've ever seen. Usually the writing and the acting is horrible in these movies, but this was pretty damn good. The guy that played Harold reminded me of a very young Humphrey Bogart.

Funny that the big decision meetings don't involve the woman. For a movie called The Last Woman on Earth, the female lead seems more like a plot device than a character.

On the whole I'd say this was a pretty dull movie, but it definately had potential. They should remake it.

Gabepaullikegirls, I Am Legend was a book written by Richard Matheson in 1954. The Last Man on Earth, 1964, was a movie based on that book starring Vincent Price. Omega man was an adaption of the same book and movie. I Am Legend is NOT a remake of Omega Man but rather another adaption of the book. ;)

Hollywood science fiction writers never seem to change. They treat the viewers as if we are complete idiotts. Yes, we know it isn't real, but we want to see plots deplicting what we would do in the same situation. If I discovered there were only three of us humans left in the world, I wouldn't be instantly conflicting with the other two. I'd be doing everything in my power to work with the others for the survival of us all. Wanting the only woman would be my last thought. He can have her.

I often wondered what I would do in this situation. I had dreams about it, and than I was shocked when I saw a Vincent Price movie "Last man on earth" and how it was almost identical as my dream. The Will Smith remake was horrible! (I am Legend). I'd go in a huge boat, crash land it into Europe and live in a Castle. THink I'd also destroy the great wall of China and stuff for fun.
