LOVED this. Thank you so much. I have been on a John Hughes binge this weekend and have watched most of the stuff on here. I liked some of the other tributes equally, but yours is the one that made me smile the most. The others were mostly sad and bittersweet, but you chose the uplifting moments from his movies and set it to the music perfectly and beautifully and celebrated him. Afterall, John did make us laugh, right? I am ending my binge tonight with a smile on my face. Thank you!!!

I'm 13 right now and in about a year 1/2 I'll become a freshman. And I can say that these movies are helping me get through this weird time. He has also inspired me to be a filmmaker.

thank you so much i remember growing up on these movies that made my teenage world make sense for and for other people.he didnt even use sexy people like they do now,he used regular people like molly and anthony and matthew or a judd nelson that is what is missing in teenage films like this era

Great video! You got 5 of my favorite 6 "Shermer, Illinois" high school movies. The only one you didn't include was "Weird Science"

The only reason I left out "Weird Science" is because it didn't quite fit into the teen angst catagory of Hughes other films. However, I'm a big fan of the movie!..."How about a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ash tray". Classic!

Your filmography tribute to John Huges is stellar! I have watched it twice within the last 30 minutes and am sending it to all my online friends and family. I am a boomer who graduated from high school ( in a small midwestern town - south of Chicago ) in the 60's. John Hughes' films are timeless, made so as depicted in the opening scenes of your tribute to him ( friendship, jealousy, angst, etc.) His films will live on for generations.
