These google tech talks are way too long. Why not have a 15 min executive summary and optionally the 1 hr talk? Or at least, tell us the "wow" application of this technology up front and then give us the detail on the underlying technology. Starting wih the detail on the technology folks can't find an (application) context in which to place or understand any of this or why anyone would explore or need this technology.

Because technical subjects require depth, and it's nice to have one place on the Internet that doesn't cater to the lowest common denominator. If you want WOW that blows my mind right now without having to think about it, maybe these talks aren't for you.
