  • did you upload any videos for Musescore 1.1?? until now nothing is diffrent, but I'm afraid about the next lessons...

  • oh god, this already looks way more user-friendly and easier to use than friggin LILYPOND. I swear i spent hours using that and only got a page down.

  • @3HeadedMonkey Ya. The nice thing about lilypond though is that it outputs such nice music sheets. Really really nice ones. If you read their documentation, you can see how and why. Anyways, the awsome thing is that this can export to lilypond, so you can just export, then use lilypond to convert it (which is easy). Unfortunately the exporting is experimental, but from my tests it DOES work still (I don't know if it missed anything though).

  • @roejames12 Just tried out both apps as you said with good result too. To others when you do the same - the export function is in the file format choice (.ly) of the "save as" in Musescore. Check the "Defining the parts" chapter of the MS manual to get separate sheets for each instrument.

  • How do you add text to the top of the staff or move text to any position you like?

    Thanks!

  • @henrygibsonmusic Never mind I found it.... Create > Text > Staff Text

  • How do I change the playback speed?

  • @EddyMorino Watch video no. 4.....Its at the very end.
