Captain Rachel Garrett, to date one of the best female Cpt next to Captain Erika Hernandez. These two female Cpts are the bomb and janeway can't hold a candle to them EVER!

2 minutes and 14 seconds for a WHOLE FLEET of advanced Klingon and Romulan warships to destroy a Federation Science vessel. Hell, the Enterprise D was destroyed by a junkyard Klingon Bird of Prey in ST: Generations. Which makes zero sense considering it took on a Borg Cube solo at least four times and survived each encounter.

@ProjectRealism Also, just popped into my head, why not recalibrate the shields to higher EM Bands like they did when fighting the Borg. Are they not allowed to adjust their shield frequencies in battle or on the fly if the frequency has been compromised like in Generations?

@fodxp Yes they can modify the shields frequency. I might get a spam for this but I'll say it anyway. The shields on the Destiny if you have no idea then search Stargate Universe. Anyway their shields are always changing frequencies on incoming energy based attacks the closer the frequency the better it is absorbed and less damage is taken. Is that the same with Star Trek

@qingbest1 I was aware of that but thanks anyway. Which makes the whole damn thing worse. See the two parter of TNG called "The Best of Both Worlds." The one where Borg specialist Lt. Shelby helped the enterprise battle a Borg cube. This was the arc where Cpt. Picard was assimilated. Lt. Shelby is the one who came up with concepts of Shield and weapons constantly modulating at higher EM bands. The only reason the Enterprise survived was because they modulated during the battles.

@ProjectRealism Yes that was due to sabotage and the fact they modulated to that specific weapon frequency. I would like to remind everyone that the closer the frequency lock the better it is absorbed might not be true for Star Trek but it is for Stargate

@qingbest1 This is true, but Starfleet has the technology to modulate and change shields and weapon frequencies because of Lt. Shelby's Borg counter measures. The fact that the Enterprise didn't use it more often outside of Borg battles, or in this instance is PIS. That or Riker is an idiot, which being a fan of TNG, I tend to blame the latter. Riker is an idiot. Should have made Data the #1.

The ship i was using was a recreation of the Voyager from Endgame. It had transphasic torpedos in the episode, so it does in the game ;)
