@doncese Get your facts straight. My family has owned a building for decades in the neighborhood next to W-burg, Bushwick, which to this day is infested with a relatively high level of crime. Better than the past, but still not the best neighborhood. W-burg actually attracted many immigrants because of manufacturing jobs, most of which vanished by the 90's leaving it desperately poor. It was generally considered a bad neighborhood in the past.
