Metal Gear Solid:Rising WAS set in between 2 and 4. But THAT project was scrapped. Reveangance was created when Kojima outsourced the creation of the game to the people who made Bayonetta. So not only is the timeline setting in this game unknown, but the franchise thanks to Kojima outsourcing the project is now hanging from the rafters by a noose. Peace Walker was the last of the series. I do not even acknowledge Metal Gear Rising: Reveangance.
the video is beautiful, But you were wrong. Metal Gear Solid rising is obviously set after Metal Gear Solid 4! Raiden's armor is much more modern than that of MGS4.
@housettaroMaRk93 if u watch ign's interview, they explain that it takes place between 2 and 4 explaining what he'd become in mgs4 and they didn't say this, but it will probably go past mgs4 also from what i can guess, but no guarantee

No it is set between MGS2 and MGS4 read wikipedia. I think it is about Raiden's rescue of Sunny and how he turned into a cyborg.
Hopefully I would like to see if this tells the history of the Patriots.
