So many are sad with the way this storyline has gone. The writers and producers had the chance to continue to make a significant difference when it came to a love story of importance. Forget the gay storyline. Viewers are invested in the Christian and Oliver relationship and to see it crumble has caused many of us to abandon the program.... You can make a relationship interesting without distroying it

Yes, we all know that this is a SOAP Opera, not a Disney Fairy Tale.....but even in Soaps, the SuperCouples always end up back together. Hopefully these writers will take cue from the Bo and Hope (Bope) story lines over the last 30 years. How many times have Bo and Hope moved on to others but always always return to their true soul mate....each other.
I like Dana character in this...she has been fair towards all...doesn't take side between Olli...Christian...Andi...and Jessica. I was surprised and quite proud that she is treating Jessica fair....
If the writers do plan to reunite Olli and Christian ( which i hope they do), they shouldn't go to long before doing it. With all these negative comments, they'll start to lose there Chrolli fanbase support. Thus they'll become just a rinkydink soap opera again. I think that they went far enough with this SL. Now start to reunite them.
Interesting. Ageism rears it's ugly head. As long as the writers have them both screwing around, they'll never confront the issues between then. Christian is still sexually confused and too young to settle down just yet, Olli tears about in a whirlwind of denial that maybe bringing Rob in between he and the very insecure Chris was mistake, and using a wedding and a child to fix it was just wrong. Instead we have long suffering Chris and acting like a desperate old queen Olli.

I think the writers have cancelled so much of the good that was originally done by Chrolli that even if the story took a turn for the better and did so soon, it will never be the same.

@AyanamiJu I totally agree, AyanamiJu. This storyline is headed down the same path as Deniz and Roman on AWZ. I can understand the writers not wanting to do what the writers of Hollyoaks did with John Paul and Craig because I am sure Thore Scholermann and Jo Weil are still needed on the show, but it just pains me that they went through all that to get them married, then they hurled all these problems at them where they do not even make it to their first anniversary after getting married.
I think the next video montage that should be created for this storyline should have Tina Turner's song "I Don't Want to Fight No More" as its backdrop. It is obvious from the way things are shaping up in this storyline that the writers at VL are slowly separating this couple. Christian will end up with Theresa, and Olli will drift around looking for younger men. I can see Christian bringing divorce papers to Olli asking him to sign them so he can move on and marry Theresa.

Oliver probably scared Tobi off because he came across as very desperate. It is desperate to send someone a bunch of text messages after you just had sex for the first time. Also, Oliver said he was in love, he's obviously been out of the loop. Jessica was correct it was just a one night stand.
I said it before and I'll say it again, I have the feeling the writers are placing the pieces to get Jessica and Christian together, because they are a couple in real life. And as real couple I wish them the best, not as their characters. Just to think about it hurts and suck at the same time.

Part 2: Also, being with Olli was something sacred to Chris, I think if he found another man it would symbolize a more definite rupture in the relationship. We can all agree that both parties are now chalking up a lot of scheisse. But let's not say that Chris with a woman is unexpected or crazy or a sign.

@masfin true but I don't think Bi was well-understood nor well-publicized till somewhat recently but certainly within the time frame of this soap. Oddly, many people claimed Olli was bi and Christian gay, which I always thought was backwards. Ulli back in "Tom and Ulli" was honest enough to admit he didn't know if he was gay, bi or hetero, so even back then the show knew the term.
part 1: I hate that Olli thinks that Christian 'dating' ::coughdistractionscough:: women means so much more than if he was having affairs with men. Honestly infidelity is infidelity and having the "appropriate" anatomy doesn't make the pain go away. Also, Christian never experienced dating/hookin up w/men before Olli so I don't expect him to go to the nearest gay bar and grab a hottie. Affairs are about easy access.

I can understand the writers not wanting to do what the writers of Hollyoaks did with John Paul and Craig because I am sure Thore Scholermann and Jo Weil are still needed on the show, but it just pains me that they went through all that to get them married, then they hurled all these problems at them where they do not even make it to their first anniversary after getting married.

I think the next video montage that should be created for this storyline should have Tina Turner's song "I Don't Want to Fight No More" as its backdrop. It is obvious from the way things are shaping up in this storyline that the writers at VL are slowly separating this couple. Christian will end up with Theresa, and Olli will drift around looking for younger men. I can see Christian bringing divorce papers to Olli asking him to sign them so he can move on and marry Theresa.

Oddly, many people claimed Olli was bi and Christian gay, which I always thought was backwards. Ulli back in "Tom and Ulli" was honest enough to admit he didn't know if he was gay, bi or hetero, so even back then the show knew the term.

part 1: I hate that Olli thinks that Christian 'dating' ::coughdistractionscough:: women means so much more than if he was having affairs with men. Honestly infidelity is infidelity and having the "appropriate" anatomy doesn't make the pain go away. Also, Christian never experienced dating/hookin up w/men before Olli so I don't expect him to go to the nearest gay bar and grab a hottie. Affairs are about easy access.

@lovelybbbful If Andi were gay, there would've been no Christian & Oliver in the first place. Andi and Oliver have such a long history together, years before Christian ever came into the picture. They'd probably be married with kids by now, lol.
Personally, I'm glad Andi's not gay though. I say this because nice to see straight guys have longterm friendships with gay/bi guys on television. It reaffirms that it's okay to be a straight guy and have gay/bisexual friends.

Tobi's a blind idiot, but Olli came off so desperate to the point where it did overshadow his sexiness a bit. Christian is really starting to piss me off. He needs to just focus on his girlfriend and leave Olli alone.
