this is brico packs.soo..all you gonna do is to find the 82_moviemk file from your bricopacks folder which is located at the Window/Bricopacks/SysFiles/....and copy it in to your moviemaker directory...then delete the old movie maker.exe...after you delete it...rename the 82_moviemk into moviemk and your done..all will be restored....tnx..hope these helps

Tnx a bunch man! this really did help! i tried a couple of suggestions over the net and found yours to be truly simple & helpful. brico pack is the culprit!
