Question: toward the end of the clip (@3'27") there's something that looks like a penalty... however Cruijff doesn't actually shoot but passes it to a team-mate: is that even "legal" today?? The referee seems to validate it, so I guess it was... I never saw a penalty been shot like that!

I suppose penalty kick is the same as free kick, so i don't see a reason not allow him to pass the ball.

Hats off to this absolute football genius. I think people like him elevate football to a form of art.

Total footbal mastermind.
His impact on footbal cannot be measured.
Far more skillful, intelligent and inventive than Pele and Maradonna combined. Hasn't received the same recognition because of his low profile personality and world cup attendance. He only needed to play one world cup to show the world how great he was. By the way; he never fouled and he's the nicest and most modest man on earth. The Dutch owe a lot to him.
