  • This is how they treat their faith too. It is just some mass fantasy.

  • Rachel's interview with the (probably) NRA idiots in Alaska was great. Obama's administration actually relaxed some gun laws a bit - for example, you can now take guns into national parks. But hey, why let the truth get in the way of partisan, Beck/Hannity/Limbaugh/FOX News idiocy right?

  • Believing conspiracy theories used to be unique to the fringe in the US until the conspirancies in some cases proved to be huge underestimations of the truth.

If 10 years ago people had said that ex-Goldman Sachs employees were running the US Treasury and Federal reserve, changing laws and writing secretive exemptions to hand over Billions of US tax payer money to a private bank, the public would have brushed them off as conspiracy theorists.

  • @backwardsandforwards Of course, you just got part of that wrong so it would in fact be untrue.

We didn't hand over Billions of dollars to the banks. They've begun to pay it back (just ask Elizabeth Warren) and as far as changing the laws goes, they were trying to get tougher on Wall Street in the US Senate (thanks, in part, to one Senator Franken), but guys like Senator Dodd and almost every single Republican decided no, that wasn't happening.
