You don't have to buy a Mac for MAC OS X. For XP You can run any amount of ram, I know people who run 128mb its a little slow but it gets the work done! you might sit there for an hour lmao but you'll get it done. Only thing you need 2gb+ ram is really for Vista and Windows 7, and prolly Ubuntu. Especially if you're a gamer. Now don't get me wrong, great vid, I've been a puter wiz / explorer for a while. I just get what I like / need. :) Cheap from tiger direct too, I always recommend them. 5/5!
Well yeah, Legally you have to. But you can run Apple's Mac OS X on a Windows computer. I'm sure you've heard about this before formerly known as "Hackintosh," :) I've made it before, but failed because of my graphics card.
Hello Tom. I'm a new subscriber and a big fan of your tutorials. I'm thinking of buying an Linux netbook or laptop, and I wanted to ask you about the end-user experience: do you think Linux (or Ubuntu) has finally achieved a level of user-friendliness that can make it a viable alternative to Windows or Apple. I'm attracted to Linux for its filesystem security, stability, flexibility, its open-source roots, and loads of free software. i'm an average user, not a gamer or a graphics person.
quick question, one can run windows on a mac? how?
