it will sound and work the same as mine, but i assure you it will sound better in person. i loved it and will be doing the same on my new truck once we get all settled in the new house.
i did it because of preference. i don't care about the few extra dollars i save. i just like the sound better. i've had dumps on my last few trucks and haven't ever had a problem with exhaust gases coming back in the cab. when one not used to it, the drone on the highway can get annoying. for me, its more like a lullaby. uh-oh!
thanks! at idle it isn't that loud, but at with any throttle it sounds pretty darn good! if you want, i can e-mail you some clips of how it sounds from the inside with the windows up. maybe i'll just post some.
Why did you do dumps? I know they're cheaper and make it a little louder, but they get really annoying sometimes when the gases start coming back in the cab!

that truck is an 04, but i now have an 08 hemi that's pretty much stock...for now.
