  • hey ruth, would you class the omorovicza complexion enhancer in the same league as the Dior skin nude glow complexion enhancer?

  • @carovski different - the Om is almost a tinted moisturiser at the same time whereas the Dior just gives the most amazing glow without any shimmers or similar - may I suggest, at a whisper, that you go for the Dior? It's about a third of the price - so long as you don't need any 'tint' on your skin... Dior has no SPF, btw x

  • I got signed by my first modelign agencie today!!!! Thankyou so much Ruth, you made this possiable for me, by giving me the confidence and u taught me great things!!!! <3

  • @MegWorkman96 that's amazing!!!!!! I'm so happy for you - when do you start? Good luck! x

  • Nooo what happened to your intro? D:

  • Have you tried Rodin Olio Lusso?

  • @ispinintights yes, love it - but SO expensive! I use it on very special occasions! x

  • Oh. My. God. You seem so sensible. I just cannot, cannot believe that I heard you say that a foundation can protect you from the harmful rays of the sun. Ruth, that is so wrong...what's the point of all this expensive skin care if you don't put on proper sunscreen? I can tell you: None. You need a proper sunscreen, foundations, moisturizers and so on is not enough. They are not even tested for the SPF they claim to have! Love you to death, but that was very disappointing :(

  • @holdkaeftima no, I said a tinted moisturiser. I use ones with proven UVA and UVB protection and I use as MUCH of the product as I would with a dedicated sunscreen, in a good layer, so that is no different. I have spoken to so many leading skincare Drs about this! Obviously this is for everyday 'normal' exposure - for sunbathing and high exposure I would always wear a sunscreen. x

  • Hey Ruth, are you familiar with any tinted moisturizers/ bb creams that men can wear that absolutely does not look like makeup, like if you were wearing it out on a bleak cloudy day ( you know those days when the cloudy weather seems to highlight all the blemishes on your face and you look like a beast) no one could tell that you wear wearing makeup/concealor. Thanks!

  • @IntoBlackHouse I'd go for Origins Vitazing - on your bathroom shelf it just looks like a normal moisturiser, but it contains brighteners and a hint of tint that makes skin look amazing! xxx

  • Hey, I have very dry skin and I was reading on the internet that extra virgin olive oil is supposed to be very good for the skin. I just wondered whether you knew anything about it and if you agreed or not? :)

  • @Dreamingisbelievin I have never used it personally - there are products that contain it, but I have never tried them! Let me know how it goes! x

  • Hi Ruth,I started watching your videos few days ago and I already added some new products to my never ending wish list..I love your videos and your blog. I like the way you put on your bronzer. I know that you said before that you like to use big powder brush for bronzer. What is your favorite bronzer brush these days? Can you please make a video about your favorite brushes?

    Thank you!

  • @ayax5356 it's on the list! xx

  • I love the colors of your outfit and your makeup, so nice

  • please help out my new beauty channel by checking it out, commenting and subbing!:) would MAKE MY DAY! xxxx

  • Hi Ruth thank u for an informative video. Pleas could u do a video on how to apply eye cream? Thanks x

  • Ruth, could you possibly make a video about your diet? I'm sure it's quite healthy and I thought I could get some ideas, thanks!

  • @DreamYourFearsAway there's lots on the website!! x

  • @AModelRecommends Aright, i'll check it out!!

  • have you tried Vichy Aqualia thermal hydrating serum ? i've been using it in the evening in place of a night cream and it's gorgeous :-)

  • @beautyjunky86 not yet - I'll add it to my list! x

  • Love your vids u introduced me to so many great products and gave me the push I needed to buy the ones have my eyes on.

  • Oh ya and remede do a great balm that u use after their 3 minute peel. I used to use it on it's own when my face got to red cause of the heat. The Remede and Avene are both very light.

  • @Looloowa74 I love Avene too! xx

  • Ruth avene have a great calming balm. They come in little tubes that last 7-10 days. U use each tube within 2-3 days seriously can't remember but anyway I used to use them after my face lazer treatments. Wow literally calmed my face down immediately. Plus I lived in a hot country so literally I would do treatments in the evening cause my face would b on fire. Bless makers of Avene.

  • your're 30??? no way!thought you were in your early 20's. your skincare must be working:)

  • Do you still like the Estee Lauder Daywear Plus, Sheer Tint? As it's not mentioned by the 'moisterizers that give you a glow' ;-)

  • @211Rainbow I couldn't mention everything. It's a really nice product, I use it still, yes! x

  • @AModelRecommends OK, thank you for answering! I was just wondering, as I heard some people complaining about its new formula.

  • @211Rainbow I think the new formula is actually better! xx

  • @AModelRecommends Really? That's nice! Let's say I trust your opinion a lot more! ;-) I'm definitely going to pick one up for the next summer then. Thank you so much for answering! By the way, you're absolutely stunning.

  • What's your opinion on animal testing? Because you use a lot of products which are tested on animals.. x

  • @ellabee99 A lot? Really?

  • @AModelRecommends didn't mean to write that, but you use a few, i was just wondering :$

  • @ellabee99 which ones though? I know that all l'Oreal brands still use ingredients that are tested on animals somewhere down the line, but any others? I try to be aware of which brands do and don't, but I still think the rules are very unclear and that brands who are 'cruelty free' have a lot of get-out clauses! x

  • do you know of a gr8 face oil for oily skin? x

  • l love your videos!

  • wow I really love all your videos! Im learning so many brands that I havent heard of :)

  • Ruth, i have been thinking for ages to switch to organic brands, is there any chance you could recommend skincare poducts from organic ranges that are suitable for 25 years old one, i have the same type of skin as you do. and overall what is your opinion about natural skincare? thx, love you, girl!

  • @malvina200386 Pai skincare is very good, and I like Lavera too for inexpensive organics. I wouldn't get TOO hung up on the whole natural/organic issue though as there's a lot of shifting going on at the moment in terms of how products are named. Just look out for good ingredients and you'll be fine! Pai is very good for sensitive, allergic skin. xx

  • I'm really looking forward to a masks/treatments video hope it's not too far away:)

  • @CocoChanelContessa it's in progress - perhaps a month away! I have to do lots of testing, as always xx

  • hi ruth!

are you not using the kiehl's midnight recovery serum anymore?

    x

  • @zickzackhosenkack now and then. I have a LOT to fit in! x

  • I love your Videos and recommendations. :)

  • Ruth, I love your salon brand skincare products and actually I bought some and worked absolutely amazing. Please introduce me more salon brands.

  • Loving this skincare series and looking forward to the other videos!

  • is it important to put eyecream? i never use one so i don't know what are the benefits of eyecreams. i'm only 19 so is it wise to put eyecream :D (sorry i usually speak french)

  • @iloverien1 Oui, je pense qu'il est tres important. Ils contour des yeux est delicate et la peau est plus mince que sur le visage - J'ai toujours utilisé une crème pour les yeux! xx

  • Even though atm im trying not to spend money on new skincare..i still love watching your videos xD

  • omg! I do not believe you are 30!! i look younger!

  • Hey Ruth, you always mention having tons and tons of skincare products and I was just curious as to how you store all of it. Youtube has sooo many makeup collection storage videos, and I would love to see how you store your skincare collection :) Love you videos! <3

  • @belladeebee it's called "my entire house". I'm not kidding. It's just everywhere! x

  • Great video ! i always like watching them ! they are very informative but fun at the same time :) x

  • can you do a video on redness? ive been undergoing acne facials...but it leaves all these red marks over my face

i am soo jealous of your skin!!

  • Any chance you'd be willing to do a healthy eating/ grocery video? It'd be great to see how you stay fit & glowing. Thanks :)

  • No offence, but alot of your items are salon brands or expensive even on ebay. I'd love to see more drugstore brands at lower prices or close equivalents to it as alot of the teens that MAY have similar skin don't have a similar budget. Thanks :)

  • @sejbomb I totally see your point, but I'd be lying if I said I use them, so I'd rather do a separate video (which I will do, definitely) with recommendations at a lower budget! It won't be long until I get one together x

  • @AModelRecommends yay thats great news!! :)

  • @sejbomb as you get older, skin needs are VERY different than those of teenagers. at that point skincare and investing in good skincare is more important than makeup. especially because any good anti-aging product is going to cost a lot of money. i would really recommend checking out teenagers on youtube, because they will problem have products more similar to your skin and more in line with your budget. hope this helps :)

  • @sejbomb check out my channel i always use drugstore brands

  • @sejbomb it's HER routine. that is not the point of the video

  • @sejbomb What? Half of these things are actually really cheap. Avene, Bioderma, Embryolisse La Roche-Posay and so on. Don't buy them on eBay then.

  • My goodness Ruth, you've such a selection..you must have quite a large bathroom! I'd be wondering which one use each day, making the whole process take even longer. I've just started the Alpha H, using most of their system.. however, think I might swap their exfoliating microderma to Cure Aqua Gel, as I'm fairly impressed with how gentle yet very effective it is. :D xx

  • when you're out, do you apply sunscreen every two hours? i find it hard to remember. i apply before i leave and then just keep applying SPF 50 when i remember, however i still tan. i use about a tsp, maybe more for my entire face.

  • @LopsidedCircle no, I apply once in the morning. Unless I'm actually sunbathing, then I wear no makeup and reapply every two/three hours xx

  • i still am amazed you are 30 not that 30 is old because it"s not but you don't look older than me and i am 20

  • @breakingbackwards She looks like 20ish or even younger!

  • Brillant video! I always enjoy watching your videos and reading your blog posts! Thanks for that. I have a question kinda related to this, would you recommend washing a makeup face before or after working out? Thanks again!

  • @whoobonhooaglo after! I never work out with a full face of makeup on, either - quick wipe with a cleansing wipe before I go to the gym and then a proper cleanse afterwards! x

  • Thanks for all the great info! I noticed you said you were wearing EL Double Wear concealer. I am 31 and always have a hard time finding undereye concealers that aren't drying and crinkly. Is the EL your favorite or is there something more moisturizing that you would recommend?

  • @beezeglo this smoothing one is excellent! It lasts for ages too - the double wear is brilliant, but if you're worried about crinkles the smoothing is better! xx

  • Thanks for this very detailed video!

Do you still use the konjac sponges?

  • @Yrie27 yes! xx

  • I have to say that I just love the way you hold the products and how your hands move... It's like a lil dance, so delicate... Do you actually move them like that naturally or did you actually "learnt" your way into it?? I have to say that I kind of practice now!! xx

  • @Misspapadita ha! Naturally xx

  • Great video! some of the products you have mention I have kept my eyeson so its niceto know they have worked for you.I dont have any major skin problems other then discolouration do you have any recommendations? thanks.x

  • @sujijoy05 I'm researching that now! Video soon xxx

  • Hi Ruth, my daughter Ally, who is six, loves your videos as well as I do. She wants to say how cool it is you live in the UK and that she loves your videos so much, she watches them with me! Now Mom would like to know what you have on your eyes in this particular one, is it the Armani eyes to kill? Thx!

  • @couturemomnyc it is indeed! In info box xxxxxxx

  • love the video, very informative :)

  • :) :)

  • HOLY HELL, i thought you were like 22. Good job<3 I just gained alot more respect.

  • please do a video on the bronzers and/or foundations you own !!!!!

  • could you do some hair tutorials please?

  • i get so excited when you make a new video <3

  • oh i didn't know your teeth were naturally like that, i thought you'd had them shaved, because some models get that done :/

    xx

  • Love your make up in this video! :)

  • do you use (or try) any rodial products? they sound so amazing but few people on youtube do reviews, im assuming thats because the products are pretty pricey. also im thinking of getting chantecaille vital essence serum tommorrow and was wondering if you have any thoughts on it? thanks ruth! :)

  • @the4senough I haven't, because they seem very pricey for the ingredients listed! But then I have a friend who swears by them - I shall research some more and let you know!! xx

  • :)
