@hahahaiamsheep Hey dude i had the same problem a while ago. You need to relearn your kickflips. It takes about a week and what you your gonna do is do the kickflip while moving instead of standing still. And remeber to commit and don't be a pussy cause if you dont commit you will probably never get them on concrete or asphalt.

@JBinhell11 I'm not sure what your foot position is, but it may be too far back, so if that's the case slide it up farther. This should help control the flip and slow it down for you to see.

so i got everything(the flick & catching it with the backfoot) down. Only problem is I can't land my front foot on my board, instead it keeps landing on the side of the board.

@cradleofjohannes Hey, I've been having the same exact problem and it's REALLY frustrating. What I think I'm doing wrong (and maybe you too) is when I flick, I don't actually slide my foot off the board, but more like the corner then down to the side, and then my back foot lands on the board.

@slapaho1234 Idk man, but have you ever noticed when people do their kickflips they don't land in the same spot but instead land a little to the side? I think it all has to do with centering your body weight before you do the kickflip but most importantly when you jump you lean a little to your side because when your flicking the board, the board will tend to go the side you flicked it. So if you're goofy, you'll end up landing a little to your right. Practice is the key though. Good Luck!

no one ever mentions what to do with your back foot whilst its flipping before you ''catch it'' as every tutorial guy seems to annoyingly say, the trick for me is that i kick it out infront of me (it makes it easier for the board to spin and then get back under my feet before i land.

The key to it is staying committed. It took me six months to land my first one and i still haven't gotten them perfect. But if you try in grass it'll make you feel safer and it will build up you confidence. The thing about the "I land with my back foot" i had the same problem and really it's that you need to flick out and up instead of out and to the side or down. Also you won't learn this trick in a few days ( most likely ) it will probably take about 2-6 months. Hopefully i helped you !!!!

hey dude, i watched lots of kickflip tutorials on here, but none of them seem to help me with my problem. I skate goofy like you, i flick the board right, and pop, but i can't land on both feet! ;p my back foot lands first and the front lands on the ground. People tell me to bring the foot back on the board after the board is flipped but I still can't get it right, always having that problem, same thing with the heelflips. Can you find the problem?
