You have to remember that when Glenn originally played that bass line he wasn't singing the whole song!! So to have to sing it all the way through was probably hard for him to do at first. A bit like us lesser mortals trying to learn a song for the first time. I admire all of these guys, they rule and I still struggle at playing and singing at the same time. Takes years of practice and gigging but hey, it's fun.

@playgroove for the record, it is worth noting that a fairly long list of musicians has commented on glenn being a good friend or a very nice person, and in all of his interviews he comes across as 1) very intelligent 2) not driven by an inflated ego in dealing with others, I have never seen him be impolite or discourteous and 3) very sincere.

His videos talking to fans are very humble, imho., and that is a credit to him.

I cannot name another musician I can say all of these things about.

You really don't get what I am saying, for Glenn Huges this is not tough, for you maybe but like the great artists, sportsmen and women, actors, chefs, sailors and so on this is his talent. If you haven't got that particular talent then no matter how you train you will never have that spark of genius that separates the true greats like Hughes, Lee, Lynnot, Entwhistle etc from the rest of us.
