@AustroSlav officially "whens its done", however relic released the last CoH patch so theres nothing really holding them back. Every 15th of the month they release new info on the Ostheer. Judging by the units it looks to be the coolest faction. There are lots of various units that havent been in a CoH game including the foriegn units :D Im looking forward to using the 38t ^^

also you could remake this vid with a little more contrast ( you can hardly see a shit as it's so dark) and at least 720p quality and you could show what all the different doctrines do. That would be alot better.
the reason why there are no russians in the original coh series is cuz the west is trying to cover up history, ..so dumb kids could only see ww2 as a western forces fighting germans, while in fact the soviet forces destroyed the majority of the german divisions, ..as it is it is a crime not to portray the heroic effort of the soviet union! ..

If anything the Russians are overpowered... conscripts take no pop cap, you can tech to tanks pretty damn quickly (and their tanks are excellent), the support units (AT/mortars/snipers) are superior to that of other armies.
If you can survive the early game and you're a half decent player, it's quite hard to lose as Russia.
Eastern Front isn't made by THQ - it's a 3rd party mod. The only people who can balance EF are the people who made the mod. Russians have been nerfed a little now but they're still a little bit insane.

@gleke Well, before you guys release the Ostheer please make sure to get help from Relic like told in the EF MOD Forums. Game crashes too often and AI is horrible imba! Another important thing is that No recrew, no XX bug... that has to be cured before this mod can be called finished.
But in general it´s the best Mod i´ve ever played. Way better then fucking BK MOd that ruined Vanilla Gameplay!
How long did you play it for? Russians are strong early in the game and hurt in the later game. Their infantry are numerous but can be cut down easily (no retreat to boot) 4 PG with G43s can mow down endless infantry without losing anyone. T34 has horrible accuracy. IS2 is good unless against Panther vet 1. It's all about the strategy. They are coming out with a patch to reduce the starting income and increase support weapons though. Russian mortar is nassssty
@WhatsAfterThisPlace There are some balancing issues to fix, but Relic has been working for over 2 years to get it right, give the devs of the Mod here a break. I'm sure in time they'll work things out.
the doctrines should be named.
"assualt" or "strategic assault"
"defensive" or " fortified region"
"shock army"
