Best tutorial for wire wrapping gemstones I've seen on YouTube yet. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Great job. I will use this method for wrapping my gemstones. Thank you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I always wanted to learn how to do this, and now I feel confident enough to actually try it! This was the BEST tutorial I could find! I know what I need to do this and how to go about it now. Thanks again. :) I'd love to see more videos with different wire wrapping techniques for stones.
good tutorial, but it would have been nice if you had cleaned under your fingernails first, that's gross, nasty! also you have your tools confused...what you call needle nose pliers are actually round nose pliers and what you call flat nose pliers are needle nose pliers, flat nose pliers are completely different and actually have a flat nose.
Very helpful if you are looking for nice crystals maybe you can look at the Herkimer diamond it is a quartz crystal that can only be found in upstate NY my wife and I have been there three or four times and it's not easy but the rewards can be great. Thank you for teaching me how to wrap my crystals
@BAMqween2025 Actually, these were dug up by my mother. There are some excellent crystal mines in Arkansas and I myself have been crystal digging on a number of occasions.
@NeptuneatDawn You could thread it through the center of the spiral, or you could pass it underneath, but I've seen all kinds of different designs, many of which have a better loop than this. Just get creative.
Great work thank you, I loved that you know where to put the camera so we all could see the same thing you see, wish everyone else new where to put the camera!
I would like to thank you for posting such a wonderful learning tool. My son and I were looking for info on jewlery making and not only did you give us the info we needed, but my 14 year old made a beautiful piece for his girlfriend. You do GREAT work!!!!!!
Well, I tried it, but it did not end up looking that great... too much excess at the top loop, and the twisted portions against the flat of the crystal in the same two places. :P Great vid, though. Good for someone less retarded than I. LOL
@markinmadtown , Funny I didnt know this was a video on how to keep your nails clean? I thought it was on Jewelry making?! You need to go 3 doors down on the right..that is the class on how to not be an ass in public?!
@TheZombietart@markinmadtown Mark, thank you for the constructive criticism. From a purely show-biz/professional presentation stand point, you are correct. My nails should be clean for aesthetics and to avoid distraction. However, I am not a professional, I'm a college student making videos when I have the time. I make mistakes and oversights. Zombietart: Thank you for your support, and your right, nails are not the focus of this video (though now I'm tempted to do one) Also: lmao! XD
Thank you for making this video, it was extremely helpful! One of the few that are simple to make while still pleasing to the eye. I would really enjoy if you could do other videos of other designs too. I would really appreciate it, thanks!
@xxiwilalwyzluvuxx@chiquis0891 Hmmm, I guess I do know a few other techniques I could show. I've been brushing up on a couple of them recently, maybe it's time to put them in front of the camera. ; )
@ everyone else Thank you for the comments and encouragement. I haven't kept up with my posting schedule lately but now that the semester is almost over I'm about to try making some more to try and meet my goal for this year (I'm hoping to get 50 videos by the end of the year)
thank you, very easy to follow

Looks great but I can't see where the bail is. Would the cord or chain go underneath the spirals?

cute wrap by the way. but i'd rather like to do a simpler loop at the top and have it more snug to the crystal

That video was very helpful. But I do have a suggestion. Clean your nails before you make a video like this one.
