  • not trying to sound rude but, whats the point of doing a review that consists of listing the specs..thanks for telling me something I've already read..you should focus more on how well it plays high bit rate video files and a mixture of compression codecs and formats...you know actually show us it's limits...and more in depth on the UI would have been better...test it with a dongle...go through a brief process of accessing files over the LAN...you know just the shit I can't read on a website.

  • i brought mine to transfer my DVD collection onto, (same as my music on my ipod) i dont know how to though, i'm not into computers so i'm struggling, please help!!!

  • Mine wont play ISO files . .? any ideas

  • @TehMillerr an iso file is an "image" taken of a cd or dvd that can be easily burnt to another dvd

  • what is the max file size you can put on this at one time? if i have a movie file that is 9 gig for instance can i put that on the box without it saying file size too big??

  • for that amount of money i can get a mini laptop that i can put on my tv :|

  • Yes this edition can store 1TB of information. You can use it as an external drive if you wanted or alternatively you can plug it in to your TV via HDMI/AV and watch the movies through the hard drive straight to your TV.

  • gd review dude.

  • What languages & formats of subtitles dose it support

  • Can you transfer DVD's onto this. Including Blueray and HD?

  • Don't buy this, it wont play movies if the resolution is more then 720x576 px. When you wan't to play it it says Resolution Not Supported {max 720x576)

  • @totetoBT correct, i got the same problem

  • @totetoBT got the same problem

  • one question, do you need to plug in the power adapter while you are transferring data from computer to this device via usb?

  • @totetoBT yes

  • Good review and to have a guess at the answers below yes you seem to be able to store media internally (which is why I want one). And yes I would also assume it stores and plays file (or it would be pointless). Plug and play?? you cant install a driver disk on your tv ... fool. and from damien123abc yea it will work from external drives via usb but not sure if theres a limit to the external drives size it can read.

  • can someone tell me if i have this right....you can store 1TB [depending on model] of music/movies on this device, and play them on your tv? does this device just store or does it store and play files? is it plug and play or do i need a cd to configure storage? can it play through an xbox 360 [via hdmi/composite cables] as well as a computer [via 2.0 usb plug]? or just through tv? thanks

  • can you use this as an external hardrive aswell???

  • hmm If it can connect to the internet for flickr, it should have had a feature to play youtube videos
