Thank you i knew it wasnt just me! Im thought my aim was off. Headshots are near impossible and during fight scenes you have to anticipate the counter otherwise you get hit. Really bad from naughty dog. Even one i have got someone dead center in my sights it doesnt register a hit properly.

@rohannesburg Auto Aim is on the "Very Easy" and "Easy" settings. Patch is fixing aiming precision, giving more circle-like movement of the reticle. Finally, game is fully playable and enjoyable. Remember - You must TURN ON the "Alternate steering settings" under OPTIONS menu after installing this fix. Thank You Naughty Dog for bringing this game back to life! :-)

The response time does suck, but I don't think it's the main issue.

I compared the games also, and I thought Uncharted 1 was the easiest to fine tune aiming. It has no dead zone and a smooth gradation of slow to fast aiming that isn't present in either sequel.

I tried doing the same thing, and I had no lag what so ever. Then again, I have a TV that isn't total shit and comes with a god damn 150+ms lag. There's something called "Gaming Mode" which reduces the TV lag to less than 10ms.

Because it's a console game, the lag is caused by the outdated hardware inside the console. The framebuffer cannot handle the amount of frames needed to be created causing the delay in frames being outputted. This affects the player input negatively and one has to wonder why console developers keep allowing such things to happen.

@chinonononozu The problem is due to the game having the incorrect values for the speed of movement. UC3 is not a giant leap forward from UC2. Hell it's probably only about 10% better. So if UC3 was having control issues because of "outdated hardware" then UC2 would have had the same issues. Please educate yourself before spouting absolute bullshit. Sensitivity = crosshair movement SPEED

Lag = crosshair movement DELAY

Deadzone = how far you have to push the stick before the crosshair starts to move in that direction

Why do people not realise that he's only flicking the analog stick is because it's the best way to demonstrate the input lag? There truly are controller lag and deadzone issues in this game, I already came to that conclusion myself before I went searching online. Some people don't understand that aiming sensitivity is able to be adjusted for a reason, to compensate for any input lag there may be due to various circumstances. It's not there just for the hell of it. On full the aiming is as free as it is in Uncharted 2.

I thought it was just me when i played BETA but this is still on the actual game, on story more and multiplayer.. With the AK-47, it seems that you have to fire in bursts of 3 or maybe 4 to kill someone, this was not the case in UC2, it had better accuracy, my point of view.
