You ever though about building a small paint booth of some type? You need a soda blaster as well as a sand blaster,they work good on soft meal.

i have built 2 paint booths but they just got in my way

and i figured out i didnt need it with my big exhaust fan .

it pulls the fumes down and out the door like a real downdraft paint booth :)

yeah , same filler primer on tractors but i used enamel paint .

You mention you were pleased with the results using the lacquer after buffing out the finish. How long did you have to wait before buffing, and what type of compound do I use to buff out the lacquer clearcoat?

i waited 24 hours before i tried to buff it .

i just used an orbital polisher with caranuba cleaner wax .

i also added a touch of lacquer thinner to there "premixed " paint

cause it was a little thick for me . get a smoother finish with it a little thinner .

but the clear coat sprayed fine out of the can

Come out looking good as always, So you liked the paint? I did I painted my wife's car Jet Black with the same paint, I was real happy with the end results, A lot of people say I did a great job on it but I think I could have done better. Again as always a great 500 job. Do you have or make CD's of your own to sell? That could be a great way of funding your projects. I know I would buy them.
