I didn't really like the graphic novel and how it was really inaccurate according to the books, but it could've been MUCH worse. But the only one who I actually liked was Mulch..
You know, maybe the movie should just be animated and not real people. This way they'll look the way the should, not with weird hair and wrong eyes and false proportions

Why does everyone talk about how they are going to make their own graphic novel? Assuming you can draw like someone that has dedicated their life to learning to draw and probably has spent years at an art school, what makes you think you can write like someone who gets their books published.

Butler looked totally ugly fucking cracked up, his not wearing earrings, its like Arno Blunt, i think they accidently mixed them up, too with the neck, and Butler isn't having golden yellow hair, that they draw too on the 2nd version cover there was made, but his suposed to be BALD. Have your tried Toon Boon or Anima 5? They are good programs and can really speed up your 2D animations. I like Flash 8. With 3D like LightWave or Maya, you can produce scenes too.
These programs will allow you to produce animations. Also, there is always a program called Director - the first one I learned.

I got an advanced partial proof of the Graphic Novel. It's only the beginning, but it's been signed by Eoin Colfer himself. But from what I have of it: IT'S AWESOME!!!
I've got the full thing now, it's absolutely stunning! It is being officially released on the 4th of October.
And Cahir, it's "GRAPHIC," not "grafic," and they're not being made on computers. The art is hand drawn then computers are used to colour it and add effects.
You're a genius mastermind at art! :o :D

kinda disappointing.
not enough action, for a start.
butler was exaggerated and foaly just looks demented. i think the troll was the best drawn character.
and i betcha i could draw some characters better than Giovanni Rigano.
