This is amazing! I am so glad you did a sermon on this. I was looking for a sermon that I could show my youth group to get them thinking about what it is really like to be a Christian, and I might show it to them! :) Thank you so much!
Hi David, Thanks for your message! Praise God! It's alright to preach truth preached by others because ultimately its God's truth! May God continue to richly bless you my brother!
I feel like Isaac.... The voice sounds like Jacob but the hands feel like Esau! This guy looks 16 but talks like he's 40! Much wisdom young man the call of God is good and you walking in it is outstanding! Keep up the good work.... and may God open up some mighty doors for you! :)
Circus-- as a youth pastor i as personally impressed not just with your ability to bring the word, but you bodlness in bringing such a relevant and in your face message...the Christian Youth in this country need to hear this
Jamel11234, I very much appreciate your kind words and defense of me. I am now a sophomore (soon to be junior) at Purdue University and have seriously considered becoming a missionary but that depends because I am getting married to my fiance (we have dated for 3.75 years now) in July. I do however long to minister and the reason there is boldness and relevance evident in me, is this sermon changed my life and woke me up to who God is and the seriousness with which He takes things.
Your desire to become a missionary is a good thing, but let me remind you that our greatest "mission field" is right here in our own backyards. America is in a rapid state of moral decline and in dire need of the pure unadulterated Word of God-- especially the youth. Congratulations on your marriage and I am praying for you! "In all your ways acknowledge HIM an he will make your path straight"
@jamel11234, thank you for your prayers good sir. I have thought greatly about in the states versus outside and the reason I lean more towards the outside is because I feel drawn there, ever since I went to Bosnia last summer. In the words of Dawson Trotman, founder of the Navigators, I want to go where other people won't or can't to do what others can't or won't do.
@jamel11234 I feel called to that lifestyle and not one of staying the US. This could change but I fear that too many people are deciding to stay when the command was go (matthew 28:19; john 15:16; acts 1:8). Thank you for your input. :)
Circusfreak - if I were you I would not even pay attention to the negative comments
We have too many moden day pharisees running around trying to sound soooo very spiritual - i mean come on, what does "get a word from God mean"?
Does anyone honestly believe that GOd or even Paul Washer himself for that matter cares where the inspiration for the message came from - so long as it changed the lives of those that heard it? Isnt that the important thing? Isnt that the weightier matter?
I love the fact that young adults are preaching and sharing the gospel, but I dislike the fact they are doing it with someone else's message. It becomes fake if you are using someone else's message.Let God speak through you and be your own person. We areall made differently and all speak differently.
Thank you for reitterating everyone commentsl however, it should be mentioned the most important thing is that people hear the gospel, which is unchanging. Whether or not it is the same way someone else said it is not that important eternally especially if people find Christ through the message. Agreed?
We have a generation going to hell and you guys are worried about copyrighting sermons?? If they need to hear it then so be-it, it needs to be preached whether its his or inspired by someone else. I hardly believe God is mad that this young man for borrowing Washer's sermon theme.
I know, I was inspired by Paul to use that for the message I gave because there are so many people that I felt at my church needed to hear that message so I delivered it in the time that I had. I am sorry that I didn't do it justice, i wish i had had the time to deliver it in its entirety.
There is no copyright infringement when it comes to the gospel-- if God inspired him to teach what he heard from Paul Washer then it was a word in season "Get a word from God" as nice and spiritual asthat sounds, has no basis in the word-- if God can use a donkey to bring a word, surely he would not mind this young man reitering a message that he heard from someon else-- I salute him for his courage

Strongly disagree
It is still the word-- and GOd could have very wel moved him to preach it. God did speak through him

I commend you young man for your efforts, but nxt time, try to get your own message instead of using Paul Washer. Get a word from God
