@BustersTexas When I was in college, an NFL strength coach came and talked to our team and he said that the one way he advocated how to grow your vertical was to jump everyday. He said it was as simple as it sounded; if you were to jump with max effort 3 times everyday for a month, it was possible to increase your vertical by at least a half an inch. Now, I didn't do it, but I do believe there is truth in it considering he worked for New England
@BustersTexas I'm not a big snatch guy myself so I couldn't testify to their ability to positively or negatively impact your vertical, but I think the basic exercises you've got listed are good from a strength aspect. I would add possibly an extra workout day to focus on jumping specific movements and tasks, like box jumps (weighted if possible), overall flexibility, calf strength (they are the primary source of explosion), and jumping.
Why not use all bumpers for all of the weight? The method used is going to wreck the equipment; two 25 kg bumpers are not designed to absorb ~160 kg of force...
I find that a wider grip puts more stress on my elbows in the final position. Keeping them close has always forced me to really shoot my hips under and keep the weight tight to the body.
MAYBE IF U TOOK THE FUCKIN STRAPS OFF U WOULD BE ABLE TO SNAP YOUR WRIST OVER?????
