what size pump are you using, I have a 1500 gallon pond and bought too small of a pump, thinking of buying a 3000gph size along with a new filitration system, I'm getting white cloudy stuff in my pond :(

in my alternative filter, i used net bags, my problem was the water is pure green, How could i kept it clear?

go to store and get some algaecide or snails it works wonders

I am stuying on ponds...will i have to drain the pond in the winter or can i put an aquarium heater in ther or what is you best ideas.

just add a deicer so that gases can escape the fish should hibernate if you pond is deep enough

Thanks, I think when the video Was taken last summer there was 8, but theyre mostly 6-8, theyve grown over the winter 1-2 and I need to sell off a couple. Gold fish and Comets dont eat as much and you could go a dozen easy. I plan to keep 5-6 10-13 koi this year and 4-5 12-14 next year if I dont go larger this spring (1500 gal)

its a little under a 1000 gal at this size. I built my above ground pond 6x8x4 and its a 1080 gal. If the deepest is 3.5 then its a little under a 1000.
