My 5 kittens are SEVERLY infested with fleas. I've never seen anything like it.

We've washed 2 of them in water with dawn dishwashing liquid and vinegar.

We tried a flea comb but it didn't work.

The fleas have come off but have gotten back on.

I am going to bathe them again.

They're like children,lol!

Yes they can, if the kitten is infested with hundreds of them, that MIGHT happen, it doesn't mean it will kill the poor cat most of the times but it might happen.

A kitten is very small, it doesn't have that much blood, besides fleas can drink up to 15 times their body weight in blood every day.

@chimpy330 is it a indoor cat or an outdoor type? since no matter what you do, outdoor cats will never get rid of fleas since most of the strays and other cats they socailize with have fleas.

If its indoors i suggest you spray rooms/carpets that may be infected with raid pestcontroll or something. as for the animal... listen to what the others have to say.

I have a full grown cat in the street wich is that breed but i sadly cant take him home D': cuz of my mom. Yes, get a Q-tip and put vaseline on it. When you see fleas on your kitten, just touch the fleas with the Q-tip, and the vaseline on the Q-tip should get the flea. The flea will be stuck to the Q-tip because of the vaseline. Just make sure you dont poke your kitten hard or put too much vaseline on the Q-tip or the kitten.
