Yeah, I agree with you, I liked the wood better myself, but these were really old lanes and they needed to be replaced. I guess the syn was cheaper? I do hear they are also easier to upkeep.

Yeah, thats actually how this whole project/channel statred. Received a Flip for my birthday and started recording myself. Lots of stuff I need to work on!Can't do that at the bowling ally without drawing some attention by others wanting to see themselves also! Putting them on Youtube was the easiest way for everyone to see themselves. Soon turned into a really fun hobbie!
Yeah, that's my friend Jon and he's trying to work on just that. This is the first time he has seen himslef roll and said the very same thing! He averages over 200 but could do a lot better with better balance.
Thoes look like synthetic lanes. My center uses the good old fashond wooden lanes.

Keep the feet slow and he should be able to fix this.
Using the video camera is a good way to see if one has any bad habits that need to be corrected.
