    hehehehhehehe

    U laughing again! what u laughing @?

    What, nevermind go again

    LOL

  • "COOKIE! Me do anything for a cookie! COWABUNGA!!!"

CRASH! (small ding can be heard)

    Classic! :D

  • Ha ha ha! I saw this on PBS Sprout once. This is funny, especially when Cookie Monster tells that blue guy, "You're laughing again!" :-D

Lord, did he get excited when he heard a cookie was the prize! That's showin' 'em, Cookie!!

  • I'm wondering, was Cookie Monster still brand new to Sesame Street here in this skit or, has he just not starred in a lot of skits (I have seen this skit in the 1980s)? I was wondering this because, Cookie Monster's fur looks very shiny blue where it looks like he hasn't been used too much in skits since he has very shiny clean fur on this skit. (In other skits, I'm sure his fur is clean but it's not shiny).

  • LOL! 0:40 "Hey, what you laughing at?"

  • Thanks for Downloading this!

This one short with Cookie Monster ROCKS!

I love this GUY - Cookie Monster is so Uber-COOL!

  • Me do anything for cookie! COWABUNGA!!!!!! lol

  • Cowabunga!!!!! lol

  • cookies are like monster crack

  • COWABUNGA!

Man i love these old Sesame Street videos

  • So many people think TMNT invented "Cowabunga", those people are idiots. Cookie said it 39 years ago!

  • That's true. I never thought of that.

  • I don't trust that guy.

  • That will teach that guy to be a cheater. You owned him Cookie Monster! :)

  • That's true. That guy probably wanted to keep the cookies for himself and/or, he probably just wanted to take money off of people who play the game so that anyone who plays the game and loses would think that it was not worth playing the game in the first place.

Definately, if I was Cookie Monster, I would report that guy to the owner of that carnival for hiding something on the game after me hearing him laughing secretly.

  • If a was Cookie Monster I would just eat that sneaky bastard.

  • lolyup.

  • Actually, Cookie Monster doesn't usually eat people. However, there was one skit where he tried to eat Guy Smiley and another skit where he tried to eat Kermit The Frog.

  • The weight only goes up to #5 before the thing explodes LOL check it out!

  • Yes you're right. Maybe as soon as the weight reached "5", a broken piece of the game hit the bell very hard which made the bell ring (it probably went too fast that nobody was able to see it hit the bell), and not the weight.

  • what??? what u talking about ??? who cares if a broken piece hit the bell, its a kids show for gods sake, its not real mate!!! lol

  • "Hey whatchoo laughing at?"

  • "Me do anything for cookie!! Cowabunga!!"

    Eat your heart out TMNT

  • Sesame Street needs to show more funnier moments like this, and less of Elmo's World.

  • I second your statement. The Sesame Street classic clips like this are much more entertaining than Elmo's World.

  • i like both <3

  • Frank Oz brings Cookie Monster to life! I love the cool voice! COOOOKIIIIE!

  • cooooooooooookieeeeeeee

  • I totally remember this one! It's terrible what that barker tried to do. It just goes to show what Cookie will do for a cookie.

  • Never underestimate the power of Cookie.

  • yes i been lookign for this one i reamber this

  • Still I get the feeling that barker was trying to pull something crooked. What does everyone else think?

  • I'm with ya!

  • COW-A-BONGAAAAA!!!

  • "Maybe I should've told him about the cookie." Do you think so?

  • Cookie Monster made that famous after Howdy Doody & before Mikey of TMNT.

  • Take a close look between at time index 1:51. The weight never really goes up to ring the bell before the strength tester collapses. It gets up to about 5 then goes back down the wire as the only surviving piece. Whether its machines or letters Coookie sure knows how to make a mess of them.

  • Shame on that barker for trying to get the strength-tester. What a carny!

  • I agree, and I thought the same thing. That guy was very rude to make that game impossible for anyone to win. He probably just wants to make money, and never wants to give away the prizes. I'm sure he wants to keep the cookies all for himself to have for his snack break, and never share them with anyone.
