And I saw those ones first when I was nine, before this movie came out, so I sort of grew up with the original ones. Normally I love the first versions of things that I see, but I happen to be a fan of some of the works that Jim Henson's company makes, and this turned out to be one of them, so... Yeah. <3

I like it, too. :3 Just can't stand the songs that are ultra-sad, though. I like the fast, up-beat stuff like this. I don't know if I would have liked country at all though if my parents hadn't raised me with it. But, you never know. lol I was raised with pop, rock and country. Mostly rock. xD Like 40% rock, 40% country and 20% pop. But I would actually pick this over a rock concert probably because I LOVE furries and the Bears are sooo adorable!~

The songs are real songs, of course. Whether they were written for this movie or not, they're real songs. As for the event, well, I have the whole thing on DVD with the movie, and when it showed the Bears entering the theater, it looked like it was in New York or something and there were more people there than just the ones that might have been paid to be in the video and support the Bears as "fans". So, I think the event may have been something exclusive at the least.
