Dear Lori,

I had only the German lyric, but at the and of the WW2, Marlene Dietrich has sung it also for American soldiers on the front in English. (I guess the German soldiers were not happy about it)

Originally this is a German "love song" written during the WW1.

I do not see any contradiction, that I'm singing (as a male) this song, because the text is about a soldier, who will meat his lover, Marleen again. So M. Dietrich was singing the text of a man!

@Accordioncrasy Mit Dialekten ist das ja sowieso ein Problem, auch viele Deutsche verstehen nicht jeden Dialekt in Deutschland, Darum schreibe ich nicht in bayrisch, schwäbisch, oder im kölner Dialekt, sondern in Schriftdeutsch. Ich denke aber, das ist in Ungarn bestimmt änlich.

Aber es gibt veilleicht noch eienere größere Unterschied (als zwischen Dialekten) when jemand (als ich) an einem fremden Sprache singt! Es gibts nicht so große Unterschiede zwischen Dialekten in Ungarn, als z.B. zwischen "Hochdeutsch" und schwäbischen Dialekt in Deutschland. Wenn ein Chinese spricht aufs Ungarisch (etwa 50 000 leben in Ungarn.) wir brauchen ein Dolmetscher am Mobile.

@Accordioncrasy Das ist bei uns ebenso, wenn ein Türke oder Russe nur schwäbisch hört, dann hat er Probleme mit dem hochdeutsch. Meine Frau spricht 5 Sprachen, hat aber Probleme mit den verschiedenen deutschen Dialekten, das ist meines Erachtens selbstverständlich, denn Bayrisch, hessisch, schwäbisch oder blattdeutsch sind verschiedene Sprachen.

When I tell you here in my reply - this is a not "top secrete" subject.

This audio was recorded 2 years ago in 2 track mono to my laptop.

This I can not play "live", because the digital instruments and accordion registers were changed several times. I also had to slow down the speed. This requires changes on my rhythm arranger ...and TIME -so this time I do not show my hands. This audio requred some audio editing work.
