one time i made a cave dwelling and it was a sheer face so if a zombie was above me he would fall to his death or something, anyways there was a tree in front of it ( a very tall tree) and a spider climbed up it and made me fall to my death when I tried to kill it. I have a fine wooden house on the ground now

fighting creepers in water has worked very well for me, it seems to decrease the blast or something

@KevinLounsberry That makes sense in a way since water is more dense than air. :) Perhaps I'm over-thinking it.

@KevinLounsberry Yeah I think they're built using the same system as TNT. You can take a look on the Youtubes for some Minecraft videos about water+TNT. I think water is what allows TNT cannons to function properly.

I'm more of a burrower, I dug myself a nice little cavern with windows and even managed to kill a Frankenstein while he was still outside! I'm now "Building" a mini-fortress in a large hill with 5x high walls carved out the side. I even have a nice panorama view and I can even have sky lights!

My GOD is this game addictive!

Building into the side of a hill or putting walls in a readybuilt cavern is definitely the best way to start as most of the construction is done for you. It also gives you the opportunity to flesh out the inside while it's night time. Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub! :)
