The Padres got a guy that's going to be a late inning reliever. I'm pleased with the deal for that, and because we don't have an offensive black hole at short, sort of. Luis Gonzalez at least makes more contact.

Not when outside of posting a 27 home run season, that he has gotten worst offensively since his rookie year.

Khalil should thrive in St. Louis. He's just the unfortunate victim of having too much expectations offensively that he was pretty much ran out of town.
