  • What's with all the stupid comments, this is Stills tune, he is soooo superior to Vandross in every respect, look at what they both did, yeez, comparing Stills to Vandross, what a joke, one of them is what one would call " a complete musician & the other one ain't, Vandross is at best medioker...

  • @ollor Vandross composed and produced most of his own material. Vandross at best is phenominal.

  • yesss!

  • Perfeito. Luther como sempre sendo o melhor.

  • Mellower than the original ~

  • Luther is the KING

  • Where's the rest of this??? It was GREAT!!!

  • Why oh why was this cut. You could see they were all having a good time.

  • love the one ur with yeah love the one ur with yeah yeah yeah duoooo -- yah luther - love this version

  • This is great!

  • Now why the hell did they cut away from this pure gold moment....right at the best part. So many re-makes are an insult to the original. Luther's cover only improved on a classic. Thanks so much for posting this even tho' it's incomplete... I see it as a cup half-full rather than half-empty. :)

  • well the problem here is the composer is white, while the performer is black. who do you go to for what is the best? it is an endless cycle that should be forgotten. enjoy the talent, for god's sake! i mean, this is not israel and hamas!

  • LMAO

  • wow that was a really retarded, racist thing to say. Congratulations brutalblkmassta - you are utterly braindead!

  • that is so correct....

  • very funny- if people get offended it is cause they would be the fool who would actually get on stage after the black artist- haha- i am a musician- and you got it right- dont perform after the black band-haha-

  • Hey ztubs6, did you hear the ovation David Crosby got when he walked onstage? If that was you Luther Vandross would have knocked you the fuck out. You may call yourself a musician(I know scores of them, black, white, asian, latino, native-that play alongside their fellow brother) but you're a nobody and everyone on that stage is a legend. Keep the bad vibes up your arse, crackhead.

  • Hey bumbo klaat, there is a real unwritten rule- unlike the crap you wrote. When good people, no matter what race or creed, come together and sing in harmony you only say good things or keep your mouth shut. If you can read this and understand it I'll buy you a toothbrush. Stupid cunt.

  • @brutalblkmassta That is racist bullshit

  • @brutalblkmassta This was after Stills had suffered a stroke. In his prime he had a great voice, in addition to his musicianship and songwriting.

  • Too bad Luther's not around for these days. What a wonderful addition he would have made.

  • This is a great video when Stills was still rockable and all the guys really tight ... and Nash is even wearing shoes!!!

  • Major props to Luther's backing vocalists on this - man they are so tight - Tawatha Agee, Cindy Mizelle, Pat Lacy, Kevin Owens & Fonzi Thornton - you're simply the best in business!

  • Great! What about the band? Not Booker T's, but Luthers?

  • Of course, goes without saying! Luther's band is just the best! Check out the original Luther band at a tribute gig at BB Kings in LA - someone has posted it here on You Tube! Amazing!

  • pbyardh thanx for such a great post. It is inspiring to see such talent on one stage. Luther Van Dross was a great talent! Nice

  • Go Luther!

  • That's strange....I only see one genius. No disrespect to Crosby, Stills & Nash. You could have had Sam Cooke on stage. There will never...ever..be a voice like Luther Vandross....period!!!

  • Eyeisrich,

Stills wrote it, played it, arranged the original, and this is basically that original pure and true with the great voice of

Vandross. You are disrespectful, sir, or just not fully aware. Learn Stills, guitarist, writer.

  • eyeisrich? no you're not. youz a bum who needs a cleaning. If you had Sam Cooke onstage, then they would have to sing a Sam Cooke song right? By the way, Sam Cooke died a long time ago. Dumb shit.

  • What an amazing combination of talent on that stage!!!

  • The master singer at work- luther is simply the best to ever do it!!!

  • We attended a CSN concert the week after Luther passed on, and Stephen Stills made a special mention of his regard. I have to say I miss Luther more than any artist other than John Lennon..or mabey Fred Astaire..or mabey Nat King Cole..or mabey..all of those other classic guys. Sinatra? We'll see....I miss Luther!

  • wow is all i can say, amazing!!!!!!!
