@dianabrunette microsoft is everywhere you have no choice but to use their product, it may not be the best, i personally do not like windows but i have no choice, this represents extraordinary business, thats why bill gates is so rich (monopoly). Apple products are fashion statements e.g. ipod, ipad,(overrated like all other tabs), macs. Microsoft windows and office are standards, they will be there 50 years from now, aint going nowhere, it is like owning the right to print money.

@kajenius Are you being serious. It makes complete logical sense to make all things in life simple and easy to use (there are a few exceptions when you start thinking deeply philosophically about it).
I don't see any disadvantage to using products which 'are easy to use' it makes complete sense to build something in that manner. Please state your arguments against this though.
@kajenius In my mind advanced users would be movie editors, musicians, designers, scientists ect. These areas are dominated by Apple technology because it's more advanced and better (easier to use) than other options. Take the creative industries they live out of the Mac platform.
@SlinkyStudio maybe some music people since they got used to the interface and the ipod hype.....big screen movie editors do NOT use mac's since it not fast enough to render the films... scientist use a modded form of linux which also is not a mac.. SUPER COMPUTER's are NOT mac's...
@kajenius@kajenius EMI is entirely Mac based, all the major TV studios run out of the Mac using Final Cut Studio. The BBC are transitioning all of their programmes that are not edited via Final Cut to it. Avatar was rendered on Macs/ Xserves as well so i'm not sure what your getting at here?
