  • Wow! Super!

  • Patience pays.................ac

  • Lovely pieces, glad to hear this. Thanks.

  • yep. The ornamentation are Turkish trade mark:) but nice. My Arabic ear is not used to excess ornamentation so I like yours since they are not over as Turkish players usually do.

  • Yes... the Turks can go nuts with left hand ornaments, as the Arab right hand tremolo can get really crazy - - - my aim is to find a balance btw the two, and to bring in more of the Arab right hand tremolo without overdoing that. . . . also to find a balance between doing something recognisably traditional WITHOUT sounding cliche!

  • good playing, it is impressing how you play the Turkish style Ed

  • thanks :-) ...does it sound Turkish? I guess that's my default now. I was doing my best to try to get at least a little Arabic flavour - but anyway, Mohammed told me he wanted Turkish style, because it is unusual in Egypt (especially played by a Canadian!).

  • Great to see you performing in egypt brother! Fantastic music and playing...!

  • Very good Edward!

  • Great Eddi! One of my favorite of your videos.

  • Excellent !.... Beautiful! ... I don't know what to say ...
