@Nicho2177 She is wearing electronic shooting ear protection; note the little knob above SR eagle. The reason her shooters muffs are very large are due a built in microphone & amplifier. These components allow normal conversation & hearing levels, in lieu of shouting. When the microphone picks up the sound of a muzzle blast, the amplifier immediately shuts down to provide the earmuffs rated hearing protection. Pros: normal conversation levels. Hearing protected. Cons: Costly. Big & bulky.
man, i wish i was 21, but im 18.. sadly, i like how the ruger LCR's look. i've never shot a handgun, only rifles, and shotguns, im a big ruger, browning, and remington fan
My husband purchased this gun for me and installed a Hi-Viz Fiber Optic Sight, I love it. The trigger is smooth and better then a S&W Model 60. I lock and load with Hornady Critical Defense Ammo which will get the job done period.
If you get hungry after a day of target shooting stop by my cooking channel and see whats cooking.
@rossabo No, it's the other way around. He's wearing old skool shooters muffs. She is wearing electronic ear protection. Hers has a built in microphone & amp arrangement. It allows for normal talking levels. But when a firearm is discharged the mike hears it & the amp shuts. This allows the shooters muffs to provide their full hearing protection. Electronic hearing protection has been around for nearly 20 years. They were very expensive back then: starting price of @ $450. Now $25 to $400 online
The LCR is the perfect conceal carry gun. Buy the "Holster kings" leather concealed carry holster. It's the BEST concealed carry holster on the market.
I did shoot one not too long ago. Put a box of 38 Spl (regular, not +P) 158gr LRN's through it. The LCR's not an accuracy champ, about as accurate as a Taurus Judge (nowhere *near* a Super Redhawk, for example). But hey, it's a snubbie.
What really surprised me is that the recoil's way less than I expected. The trigger feel is PHENOMENAL.
When the "newness hype" pricing comes down, I will be buying one. It's a nice gun.
@blankthree When you enter a gun range all of your guns are to be unloaded. Only after getting into your lande position are you allowed to load. This is common safety protocol. This must be visible to all on the range that all the weapons, rifles, shotguns, handguns are unloaded when entering and exiting the gun range.
Wanna trade?? Baaaahahahaha

RUGER LCR, Why the hell after pushing the cylinder released button, you have to force it open with the other hand, so much for speed loading. POS

@86turkishman The HKS Model 36, originally made for Smith & Wesson J frames works perfectly with the LCR 38/357.

Traded in Smith Airweight 637 snub for my LCR, the difference is amazing, better trigger, less recoil and best of all, it's a Ruger!

Wouldn't it damage it to dry fire it?
aveling007 1 year ago
@aveling007
The LCR can be dry-fired without damage to the firing pin or internal components.

"I SAID, IS THAT THE NEW RUGER LCR!?"
