  • 1937.7.29 Tungchow Incident (通州事件) ,Tungchow Massacre (通州虐殺)

Tōngzhōu Incident was an assault on Japanese civilians and troops by East Hopei Army( Chinese troops) in Tōngzhōu.

some 250 civilian residents of Tōngzhōu were killed (predominantly Japanese reserves, including police and ethnic Korean-Japanese).

the majority of women were raped and some were brutally killed. Only around 60 Japanese civilians survived, but much of the city was destroyed in the fighting.

  • @bbcc2200 The only country that should be ashmaed is america for using 2 weapons of mass destruction.

  • @bbcc2200 ALLIED POWERS: Total dead - Over 61,000,000 (1937--45)

AXIS POWERS: Total dead - Over 12,000,000 (1937--45)

ALLIED POWERS lost so many more especially USSR, poland and shit-china. axis' pure domination! also the first one who surrendered in Asia/Pacific were CHINA in Battle of Nanking, Battle of Shanghai.

  • @thisisthewar3000 you fucking idiot! VICTORY is not in terms of casualties. When you're the one getting nuked and split up by victors, you lose. you fucking idiot....

  • @thisisthewar3000 FUCK YOU! BASTARD DUMBASS! CHINA RULEZ! WE INVENTED PAPER WHILE YOU EUROPEAN DUMBASSES WERE WRITING IN STONE TABLETS!

  • 7.29 Tongzhou Incident (通州事件)

  • How can Japanese admit the wrong history such as the Nanking Massacre? Analyzing Photographic “Evidence” of the Nanking Massacre by historians and other recent scientific research reveal that there are no photographs attesting to a massacre in Nanking. You know, at least 143 pictures are distorted by Chinese government.

  • @wulixin1970 its not a failure

  • All the histories of the world can be verified by using the Internet.

    It believes? It doesn't believe?

Your favor is meaningless. Because The truth is told there. the truth is one.

You are different from Chinese. It is necessary to examine the history thoroughly.

  • This movie is a true movie, that the Japan Imperial Navy made.

By the way, The Yankee massacred the citizens in Japan by using the atomic bomb. The power to destroy was confirmed by dropping 1 time. Why did need drop 2 times? THowever, the Yankee never has the apologized thing. To the way of Chin.

The Yankee made the lie of Nanjing with Chin, because The Yankee wanted to justify the atomic bomb.

The Chin and the Yankee look a like very well. And, the USA and China are very shabby countries.

  • @YThaOmoroi the japanese got served right they deserved

  • @YThaOmoroi You reap what you sow. By attacking others, the Japs were attacked by others in the end

  • I can't understand it :(

  • Strong preys on the weak, everybody is out there to get advantages.

That's how the world is ran.

Nobody gives a crap about you if you have weak and powerless

  • @posteriordepression1 if only it was better. but dude, this is a perfect example that no1 gives a crap bout anything as long as they get what they want.

  • Bull. It is true that Battle of Shanghai was started by Chinese troops.

But did you forget that Japan had already swallowed 3 provinces of China in the North by the time this happened?

Japan was the aggressor. Everyone in the world knows. By trying to justify your actions in WWII you will only make yourself look bad.

  • @Vash6the6Stampede

Manchuria was a part of (Manchu) Qing dynasty? I don’t think so because China created the Great Wall for defend other countries invade to China. When the Sino-Soviet border conflict happened in 1969, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, he was a Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union said Chinese north border must have been the Great Wall line. A Chinese historian Kou Bunyo said, “This is the right recognition of history.”

  • @kaito8209

lolz. Qing Dynasty was ruled by Manchu. Yes, they were originally from Manchuria. It is their homeland. They established Qing Dynasty outside the Great Wall, then entered the Great Wall and took over entire China. Of course Manchuria was a part of Qing Dynasty. Go Google keyword "Qing Dynasty map". I bet you won't be able to point out where Manchuria is.

  • @kaito8209

Manchuria had completely became a part of China since Qing Dynasty established in 1644. It wasn't China took them over, it's the other way around. They willingly conquered Ming Dynasty and became a part of China ever since.

Talking about which land doesn't belong to who. Kingdom of Ryukyu was an independent country until it was swallowed by Japan through use of force in 1870s. Give it back!

  • @Vash6the6Stampede

(Part3)Its population had nearly doubled in the 20 years from 1912 (the year of Xinhai Revolution) till 1931 (the year of the Mukden Incident), rising from 18 to 30 million. The Chinese people had undoubtedly regarded Manchukuo, built by Japan, as a place of peace. The Chinese government has been teaching Chinese children that the Japanese are savages, having committed cruelties in various parts of China. This is an utter falsehood.

  • @kaito8209

You are brainwashed by Japanese version of "history". Manchuria was a part of China and is still a part of China. Japan fought Russia for the right to take over Manchuria from China. You are funny to say you were "helping to maintain order". That is typical Japanese propaganda.

Everyone and their mama knew Japan already took over Kingdom of Ryukyu, Korea, Taiwan, then Manchuria was the next in line for Japan's wet dream of world conquest.

  • @Vash6the6Stampede

Chinese wanted to be Native Chinese or Minority group in China like a Native American or Native Australian. Korean also wanted to be Minority group of Russia. Russia had wanted to get ice-free ports in Korea at that time.

I'm sorry, Japan interfered with Chinese dream & Korean dream..

    Please watch this.

  • @undertakerRach1

The wall was built in 220BC, then rebuilt in 1500s A.D.

Qing Dynasty (1644~1911) included all of what's inside and outside the Great Wall. Manchu themselves wanted to become a part of China by ruling it. So China assimilated Manchuria fair and square.

If nearly 400 years of owning Manchu still don't count as a part of China, then Japan must be non exist, and all city states should go back to their own original walls.

  • @Vash6t

(Part2)Japan accordingly established the Kwantung Garrison to maintain the public order in appurtenant areas of the railway, as some Western nations had done similar things in other parts of China. After the Mukden Incident in 1931, Japan established Manchukuo. Since 1906 till the end of Manchukuo in 1945, i.e., during the period when the region had been under Japanese rule, it had been free from China’s internal conflicts, and a lot of Chinese people flooded into this peaceful region.

  • @Vash6the6Stampede

(Part1)There are a lot of historical facts about which the Chinese government never tries to tell the Chinese citizens. A historian of Chinese history, Kou Bunyu, writes about one of those historical facts as follows. In 1906, after the Russo-Japanese War, Japan gained interests in the South Manchuria Railway and built up industries. China at the time, however, was in a disordered state, with a high crime rate, and internal conflicts occurring all across the country.

  • China should stop telling the lie. It becomes true if it says 100 times even if it is a lie. The good one of anything doesn't arise from such a custom.

China ate 100,000 men by Cultural Revolution. It is not reflected on. Chinese is eating man still in a public way. Moreover, the person is killed before a lot of people are looking. Only everyone sees and it doesn't try to stop it.

Man only who is telling a lie looks back on him, and cannot change badness.

  • (Part4)Aug 13 10:30, Chinese military shot machineguns to Japanese living area. This is the trigger of the Battle of Shanghai on Aug 13, 1937. According to the New York Times on Aug 30, 1937, any Japanese soldiers had not gone to outside from barracks when they were under the greatest Chinese provocation. Also, in Sep 16, New York Herald Tribune newspaper said Chinese military provoke the war against Japanese was a fact about which there was no room for doubt.

  • I agree with you! China should stop telling the lie. • @oddballrach I agree with you!

  • (Part3)The book became a best-seller in the United Kingdom and North America. This book was written by the husband and wife team of writer Jung Chang and historian Jon Halliday. After the incident, Chinese military surrounded Japanese camp. The Mayor of Shanhai called to Japanese consulate in Aug 11, and he said," I'm sorry I can't do anything. Also, Chinese military surrounded Japanese living area in International settlement. At that time, Japanese required to Chinese military withdrawal.

  • (Part2)However, according to the book which is called "Mao: The Unknown Story", General 張治中(Zhāng Zhìzhōng)in KMT committed well- organized laid trap. 張治中(Zhāng Zhìzhōng) put military out of the airport and a Chinese death-row convict who was worn a Chinese military uniform. In short, Chinese made a show Japanese kill Chinese first. Moreover, Cap. Ohyama and driver's shoes, watches and wallets were stolen by Chinese.

  • (Part1)虹橋空港事件(大山事件),Cap.Ohyama Incident, happened on Aug 9, 1937. He was killed by Chinese military near the Shanhai Air Port. This incident developed into the Battle of Shanghai, which was happened on Aug 13, 1937. After he was killed, Chinese military reported that a Japanese military car entered into the airport, and Cap Ohyama and his driver shot a Chinese soldier.

  • Very different version of the story was told here. Very rare footage,

  • Interesting film. Now I understand why the Jap deserved the 2 A-bombs. Maybe Japan should leave the rest of the world alone now. Peace on earth. Hear there is holiday in Japan celebrating the atomic bombing of Nakasaki and Hiroshima, true? Hope the Jap sincerely learn their lessons and be humble to world citizens!

  • @AHHUAT2 they don't celebrate the atom bombs, they recognize/acknowledge the day and remember its tragic losses.

celebrate is the wrong word here

  • @AHHUAT2 I am Chinese, I understand how you feel. I AM glad that Japan had to suffer from the A-bomb since it had to undergo extreme measures in order to surrender. However, I don't believe those innocent people should have died. They are just people blinded by their own wrongful government. The people in charge should be blamed and suffer the consequences, not the those innocent people.

  • I have lots of Japanese friends, from where I used to work.

  • Believe it or not, they are told a different story of their invading history. They think they are the victims! They understanding, due to their domestic propaganda education system, is that if Western countries like UK, US, France are heros in WWII, why they are the villian? If China or Chinese and Korean are the lamp, why the Jap wolves are the one being punished? Interesting how the past can be twisted and what the future would be if China and Korea do not be wary of the Jap in the long run.

  • They have never give up. They have been told they are inferior to westerners but superior to Chinese and above all, Korean! Really weird and twist thoughts.

  • @AHHUAT2 The Japanese used to believe they were superior to the Westerners. I guess now they think differently. But no race is more superior than others. I just wish the Japanese government would teach their students unadulterated history, not edited. That's why China, Korea, and Japan don't have a good relationship with each other. History is the main problem.

  • chiang was fluent in japanese and spent 2 years in school there?

  • kmt can't fight for shit, lol. before sino japs war, kmt lose every battle with ccp from 1927-1935, only win the long march war. can't even beat the small number of ccp army. now can't beat the japs with 4 x the size of army against japs at wuhan with much better highland defense, wtf is going on with these kmt loser, no wonder ccp took china.

  • The JIA planed to take Shanghai in 3 days and China in 3 months. The battle of Shanghai alone lasted more than 3 months. KMT threw in its elite German trained divisions with no reservations. The determination of fighting spirit of the Chinese shocked the Japanese. since the battle Japan knew that it can defeat the KMT militarily.

  • @pokermaniac0978

This film is simply japs propaganda. maybe there was some strategic errors made by CKS during this battle but the chinese army forces were very courageous. they had very poor equipment compared to the japs. and virtually no support from navy and air force. yet they still advanced without hesitating. thousands of troop died in one hour just to protect their homeland from invasion. i am sure you wouldn't be one of them you wimp.

  • It could be nice if there is an english sub.

  • yeah i'd really like to know what's going on... the footage alone only goes so far, alas if only i spoke japanese!

  • i dont understand ?????

  • Comment removed

  • subs would be nice

  • It's an interresting piece of historical film.

Talking about Japanese marine 陸戦隊 too.

  • If one one mechanized battalion and an air regiment from today's PLA went in, Japan's entire Shanghai invasion would be defeated.

  • 喔 靠
