@1PeterKong as I remember all sounds are comming directly from motif xs. Cubase AI4 was used only as a sequencer.

Teraz chcę tylko wiedzieć, czy dźwięków używanych w tym demo jak w wielu innych jest .. sekwencji dźwięków syntezatorów i słyszysz są należące do xs motyw? są fabrycznie prests, dźwięki są edytowane w tym samym motywem? lub dźwięki cubase? dzięki!

I have some latency issues with my vocals and guitar through yamaha interface but the midi is spot on no latency at all. Very happy. Running ai4 through a $300 toshiba laptop with yamaha kx midi control and audiogram 6 to keep it all in the yamaha family. Great setup for under $200 you have full feature recording studio at home.

Finally some ai4 love. Got it with my yamaha controller and I love it. Just wish it came with more than just halion 1. Free vsti work but cubase stein berg make some pretty slick stock vsti.

@ADAMGRAGORIAN if you want no over -runs then yes buy an audio interface, its almost essential for music creation.. and yes there is a difference in Cubase 5 and AI4, AI4 is a compact version of cubase 4 made especially for Yamaha, it has a lot of cut down features. Version 5 is the way to go if you want a full brilliant package :)

I'm trying since weeks after all the new updates to connect the Motif XS7 via mLAN to Cubase AI4 and it really dont works.

Today I was in the biggest musicstore in Berlin, asked the technik-man how, and he told me, that it is a wonder, that I had the connection one time. He told me, that he was 1 week with the yamaa-support to fix this problem, but no cance. What can I do, who can help me? Viola

I do not remember if I had any problems with connection between motif and cubase. First installed mLAN drivers, than Cubase AI4 and everything was OK.
