  • If aliens were to land on our planet, I do not think it would be a day of cuddly misbehaviour that would result in one jet fighter staving off the destruction of our human species. I expect it would be nuclear war that saw the aliens leave again pretty damn quick and the end of our species. I doubt aliens will be landing any time soon, though treaty from outer space might be negotiated, perhaps even some incarnated as human beings in the meantime.

  • 0:46 "See Black Men Jump" was Jaz watching a basketball game?

  • @windmoveswater """Okay, if you don't like what KJ is currently doing, you're not a KJ fan. """

You still think you can own what makes other people fans of a band? I hope you're in your early teens, for your sake.

You are one person among many fans of KJ, and your opinion is one of millions that can all like/dislike whatever they like regardless of what you think makes a fan.

Who gives a fuck what you think a fan is? Only you. That much should be obvious to anyone.

  • What does that chick whisper at the end of each bar?

  • Sounds fab, after 7 pints - Oh God, I'm in trouble again..

  • my favorite off of this album

  • 1:25 PANCAKES!

  • @kikbuttproductions Too fucking right!

  • The album is sick, mysterious, dark, resigning, scary, sad and emotional. No better album has been released this year

  • Who cares about being a "fan" anyway. I love Killing Joke, and that's it. You don't need to prove any kind of loyalty or fandom to anybody.

  • in the couple, Jaz sounds like Lemmy! a great song and a great album

  • I'd like this album more if the production was a little cleaner

  • Loving the new album........roll on the 16th at Hammersmith!!!!!

  • Fucking Awesome. Best British Band ever. even after 30 years. One day Jaz's genius will be realised.

  • new album is awesoooome better than the 2 before !!

Paris gig soon i'll be there !

  • @beforethree Awesome maybe, but not better than 2003!

  • @dorvekable i respect your opinion dude ;o)

  • ...YES YES YESSSSSSSSS...it continues...KJ rule!

  • It's no JOKE....this is KILLER!

  • As an avid Killing Joke fan, I have to admit, this still doesn't match up to most of the songs on their amazing 'Killing Joke' 2003 album, but it kicks ass over 'Hosannas' for sure! I'm not disappointed! Thanks so much for posting this! I've been dying to hear some new KJ! I CAN'T WAIT for the new album!!!!

  • @pinkydeluxe01 Everyone has their own fucking taste, don't make out that your perception of reality is the one we should all see. I love the spirit of Killing Joke and because of that, I can trully hear it - and they've never had a song I didn't love. I'm not even Loyal to them, it's just the way it's come about. To me, this band has naturally become my favorite band in the world.

  • @windmoveswater LOL it was an opinion dude! What a fucking moron.

  • @windmoveswater Personally, I always distrust anyone who claims to like everything a band has ever done, even when that band is Killing Joke. It just suggests a total lack of discernment. Are you saying that if you don't like every KJ track then you're not a KJ fan?! Just out of interest, do you happen to own any of Jaz Coleman's classical recordings?

  • @MisAnnThorpe I think you misunderstand what I'm saying. Okay, if you don't like what KJ is currently doing, you're not a KJ fan. If you do like what they have done in the past, then you USED to be a KJ fan (back when they made music you liked). You don't just get to take the credit for being a fan of a great band if you can't appreciate their current music. A band is the whole package, not just their 'old better stuff'. You're not someone's friend if you don't currently get on with them.

  • @windmoveswater Well how about if you didn't like any Killing Joke stuff up until, just as an example, say; "Outside the Gate" but have loved everything since? Or for that matter have only just got the Joke with "Hosannas...." or "Absolute dissent" but now absolutely love them, despite thinking "Revelations" is shit? Is that person a Killing Joke fan? Btw, you still haven't told me whether you have any of Jaz Coleman's classical work. Think very carefully before answering

  • @windmoveswater Wow, you get credit for being a Killing Joke fan! I never knew. I'll tell my mum she should respect me more.

Loads of bands go rubbish - a few even come good later. You don't have to like everything someone does, even your friends. That said, this track is a belter. Killing Joke are a great band, occasionally embarrassingly bad lyrics but on the whole brilliant. Do I like all their stuff? No, not all of it but I don't really like all of anyone.

  • Come back from the pub , listen to this on my headset ,wow, I knew KJ were good but this is just excellent perfection. I thought in my tiny brain in 1981 when i first heard Requium that i discoverd them. Well i was right in a strange type of way, Hello to the village, GL with it.

  • KILLER

  • Raw, powerful & brilliant - good luck with the new album.

  • Its the best song / tune ever released. Nothing more can be said about its Pure raw KJ class . and i mean CLASS. Pure KILLING JOKE If there is such a thing.. There is now.

  • Hm. Killing Joke? Sounds like Motörhead. Killing Motörjoke? Anyway…

  • well the video doesnt do very much but it is beautiful regardless, very very beautiful...and with that wonderful sound in your headphones, its...as typically orgasmic as ever...more so than usual....Gratitude to the max Jokers

  • thank the god

  • sounds fuckin great

  • Still looking for In Excelsis....

  • wow....... i like this!

  • Better than In Excelsis with more than a hint of Lemmy from Jaz... although it does sound as if they're setting out to be anthemic... I think they should do more creative stuff with the vocal effects, it's like they're holding back the lunacy.

  • So frustrated! Their new E.P. "industrial Suicide Tribe" that has this song was supposed to be coming out yesterday, did not come out and now I see it's renamed "In Excelsis" and will be released June 21st of this year.

  • Excellent! Thx for posting!

  • Bad production-great song-hold on I bet this comment will get removed like the last one.

  • Cheers for uploading bongorama ! growing on me already. my 5 favorite albums. Not in any order. 1_ A KillingJoke 1980 2_ Night Time 3_ Democracy & Pandemonium (i consider them 1 great double LP,LeaVe iT! ) 4_ Killing Joke 2003 5_ Outside The Gate, 1988 , because that lp helped me get through some trying times. i bought it for a pound in Bankrupt stock shop, early 90's.When Big Life Records disappeared. Is that a picture of Mercury by the way? or a planet in "Universe B" LOL (till i choke )
  • very good! i hope live in japan one more

  • Very much worth "The Wait".......lol.......i made cheesy joke!

  • @Joltzz1983 no my friend, you make good joke.

  • WOW JUST WOW PPL LISTEN TO THIS AMAZING SONG ENDGAMES!!! LOVE IT MAN SUX THERE NEW ALBUMS COMING OUT SEPTEMBER 6 o well ITS WORTH THE WAIT

  • "Get tribal again..." why? Everything KJ do and say, they do and say for a reason. They don't aim at pleasing, they're not trying to sell albums, they don't want people to love their music, they just DO their music. Personally, I enjoy each and every album they made, for each of them refers to a different time, and state of mind they were in. I sure don't want them to go back to anything they did in the past just to please old fans : no way out but forward go! ;)

  • Lyrically it might be relevant but musically it isn't. It's like A.N other heavy band, an accusation that could never be levelled at them in the days when they were hungry, treatening and culturally menacing. They were revolutionary. I never suggested they shouldn't change; what I am suggesting is that they don't regress into sounding like A.N.other heavy band because that's all it is now. What would you know? :)

  • If you've been a killing joke fan for 30 years like i have, then you will immediately take this new and superb song as quite fucking SPINE TINGLING! it has all the ingredients of what kj do best. kj are forever innovative and do their own thing their way. if you don't like noise then don't do killing joke. if you like dark, sonic cacophony and full on emotionally charged and vibrant, then kj are for you

  • ... vaccinations fail to work...be prepared for martial law...Fucking Classic!!!!!!!!

  • HA! To jest to im - starsi tym silniejsi! Refren brzmi jak dźwięk zachodzącego słońca! wydaje mi się jednak , że to dopiero "przedsionek" całego albumu . Czekam na koncert

  • Jaz - start fucking singing or proclaiming again. No yelling. You've become unmusical. Youth - get the fucking chorus off your bass, get gutter-funk-dub heavy again, Rickenbacker only. Big Paul - you wanna sound like a god? Get rid of your cymbals and reverb, downtune and simplify. Geordie - get rid of your 295. KJ - GET FUCKING TRIBAL AGAIN.

  • @bufon63 although i'm not educated enough about musical sound technique to know the detail cause of the final sound, i do agree with you 100%. i must say i'm disappointed. sounds nothing like the first two albums. it was the same with" hosana from basement.." although pandemonium was great. what do you think of pandemonium?

  • @houmanDMD as much as I love all the first albums, I do not think I would still be listening more to Killing Joke than any other band if they still sounded like they did then and I like how they have evolved, really love Hosannas...and Pandemonium. Surely Big Paul is going to pull off some nice tribal patterns on the new album, it is expected of him, being back in the band finally. I think it is going to be one hell of a album....when it finally comes out!

  • @bufon63

Don't hold your breath. KJ aren't the type for retreads of past successes. I personally love the chorus on this one.

  • @bufon63 I agree! I want TRIBAL KJ! This new song doesn't disappoint, but I sure hope the new album gets back to the KJ tribal sound we all love (and if you're a true Killing Joke fan, don't pretend you don't hope for the same)!!! I've got my money on Big Paul bringing it back. I could use a good hard dose of it!!!

  • @pinkydeluxe01 If you don't like this, then how can you fucking claim to be a 'true kj fan'. There's no such thing, you either like em or you don't. I can't even imagine doing comparisons between one track and another, you're talking about a genius' and his crew's incredible imaginations and feeling. Actually listen, stop being loyalist to a past time. The past doesn't give a shit about you, let it die.

  • @windmoveswater Haha what the hell? I didn't say I dont like this. I just said I still don't think it matches up to 2003's "Killing Joke", which still blows me away to this day. What a dickwad. Go be angry at someone else you stupid fuck. I'm allowed to give an opionion. I've been a loyal Killing Joke fan since Nighttime, but I thought Hosanna's sucked in my opinion. I'm not a robot like you dude, I have opinions. Deal with it you angry stupid piece of shit.

  • @windmoveswater Oooohhh I must like EVERYTHING Killing Joke do. With that mentality The Frog Chorus compares the same as Paperback Writer? And this arse licking "Genius". Jaz is not . He is an entertainer that hopefully entertains people that's all. Crumbs even Elvis did some kak in his time.

  • @kingofpunk1977 what the fuck are you on about you fucking cock chomper. Jaz Coleman is a genius, technically and artistically. He has an IQ of 190, that's Mensa's definition of genius. What a fucking pointless cunt. Go vote for the BNP you shit mind. Soft beats hard, yea - it's an intelligent piece of philosophy, try and figure it out. What a fucking waste of music, If I could take the vibrations back out of your ears I would do. Now fuck off, you're wasting the internet.

  • @windmoveswater Christ, if that wasn't so incredibly funny, I'd have stepped in to defend kingofpunk1977... But since you are right, I won't!!

Killing Joke rock my brain and my world!

  • @windmoveswater -FUCK ME, thats the best dis i've ever read ANYWHERE, you are to be congratulated on your use of dirogatory English language to such effect.

I literally am still smiling now...and totally agree with every word you wrote tbh.

  • @windmoveswater oh no we've got windmoveswater, just ONE of the biggest fucking loser idiots on youtube who hates anybody that has a different opinion than him. What a fucking moron. I mean how stupid can you get. Look at this guys page and see all the little details he wrote about himself in his profile. He's the biggest self absorbed piece of shit, it's actually pretty funny. Then he comes on here and hates on everyone for having an opinion about KJ. Fuckin loser at it's best right here.

  • @MisterHaterHater I have quite a normal life, it's not too busy away from my lap top yet I still don't have time to create an entire online alter-ego who's got a mission to save planet Neutral from the invading forces of people with opinions. Sadly you're on the wrong planet for that one, because this one has LOADS of people with passionate ideas and opinions. p.s. I love you. p.s.s. You fucking boring mong.

  • @windmoveswater LMFAO at that putdown!!!!

  • FUCKING YES!!! "shot by shot we're all starting to wake up/wipe out!"

  • nice tune but I hope they REMEMBER TO GET A PROPER PRODUCER.

  • Couldn't agree more. Don't know what planet royb1001 is on. Diabolical production. Criminal bearing in mind they have a team of engineers and a eh "super producer", Youth. Great bassist, lousy producer.

  • the drums don't sound brilliant, but it's far from terrible - I don't see what the problem is

  • hope you realize that THE PRODUCTION OF HOSANNAS WAS FLAWLESS

  • @jesterheadflame666

it was a bit noisy and thin. but that whole album was a bit bollocks anyway.

Universe B was the best thing from those sessions and that has the worst production of anything in the whole world ever.

  • @jesterheadflame666 I agree, love the sound on it, took a few listens to soak in, but what a monsterous sounding album that is when played loud on good speakersystem, amazes me every time.

  • This new killing joke song is just fucking SUPERB!!! What a fantatic sound!

  • f.....g great thanks. I look forward to September in Katowice, Warsaw and maybe even in Prague.

  • is this a new song or a b side that i don't know of? either way, thanks for the upload.
