may i ask what happened to him? succesful musician - progressive ideas - threat to government - government killed him. is that it? or is it more complex? discovering his music through youtube, love it so much. i'm always drawn to iranian music, and interested in better understanding the country/culture. difficult to get "objective" (whatever that is) information about it. (by the way, i'm not american, nor supportive of their international politics. i'm a belgian musician.)

hello belgian musician...this great man was no threat to any government and certainly not to our religious government since he was a very spritual musician. many people who hate our country because we just want to be free, free from american dominance like for example in belgium, try to imply he was killed by the gov. such people use all sort of rubish to discredit our country and culture. this great spritual man was killed in sweden by racist skinheads, of which you have a lot also in belgium!
