Noctis looks ridiculously awesome, but I hope Square Enix doesn't f him up with a terrible personality like Lightning. Something a little bit brighter than Cloud or Leon would be good.
@TheFinal360 Lightning was just terrible, to everyone, even her sister. She was only nice to Hope for a little while, after she tried to abandon him twice. Plus, Cloud actually has a really good personality, it's just hidden under all of the fake memories.

@kanetidus You obviously havent looked hard enough, try wikipedia. They already have leaked trailers of gameplay, and it showed that is gona be open world and somewhat similar to kingdom hearts in fighting, they also showed you can control giants robots and other vehicles.
FF7CloudStrife7 dont agree with you.FF XIII had good storyline and gives much emotion,and has interesting Science fiction universe(Cocoon,Pulse),However it has other problems:one of them,and most important one since FF XII(Wchich i agree that the story was incomplete):Game variety.No minigames,not many puzlles,no cities etc.Just running forward like in action game.That is the main problem of today's games(NOT ALL,BUT SOME):simple gameplay.
The last TRUE RPG i have played and LOVED was S.OCEAN 3
I hope this game turns out to be to polar opposite of FFX-2. If that's the case, expect a true masterpiece from Square in quite some time. All the mysticism of the FF series from when it first became mainstream died after FFX when Square tried appeasing the western market. At this point, I prefer the DS version of FF4 over FF13 despite its awful graphics by comparison. It has story & it's amazing how a straight-edged polygon clutter like Cecil conveys more empathetic emotion than FF13's chars.
@RenekazeUK yes. They said they wanted a more "realistic" Game (yet, it's almost like he has "Matrix" Abilities) so they decided to set it in a more modern setting and include blood. Yeyeyeye.
I loved FF13 and as a true ff fan since i could hold a controller and tbh i don't think all you ff13 haters out there should be bashing the characters or game play in 13 considering stella and notice look like they've been got the personalty of a carbord box in the cut scenes so far.
The character development of all the characters in ff13 was amazing, you kinda grew with the charatcer. Maybe this game will be good but that fact is that it SHOULDN'T be called vs 13 ...its nothing like it

I hope Noctis is in the Next Kingdom Hearts considering the combat for Versus is going to be really similar to the KH series. that and the team that is working on this title is the same team that made the KH games.

@Gogetax111 Actually I heard that too. Infact they haven't even started on KH3 yet cause they are finishing FF13 Versus. However they are coming out with a new KH came for the DS in january and a few others later on including one for the new 3DS soon to be coming out. But no, they haven'ts tarted KH3 to my knowledge

Noctis and Sasuke are nothing alike. Sasuke did not have hovering weapons nor did he have telekinetic powers. The red eyes is just a coincidence, it could mean something dark within Noctis. Sasuke was an emo, Noctis isn't, Noctis is badass and epicness incarnate. End of Story.
I heard this is going to be on the Wii, and you are only allowed to buy the game if your teacher comes with you and certifies you as being top belt/grade in several recognised martial arts. The players who show the most skill will be allowed to participate in a hologram beta for Sony, called the Realstation, in which you are fully immersed in to a 3D world, using motion capture to register your movements. You may also have pain receptors attached for realism, hence needing to be an expert in MA.
@keyblademasta99 this simply a pre-rendered CGI scene so dont expect the gameplay to look exactly like this. it will look similar, but the details and textures wont be as clear
I hope this will be better than FFXIII since I found the game to be rather boring :| I want some free roam without having to kick ass, a few mini games, side missions that don't involve having to slay some monster D: Make it interesting!

Keep your Disney shit away from this. Versus XIII is alot darker and devoted to the fans who've been waiting for a real FF since X.

It's sad to think that a once revolutionary RPG series has succumbed to being intertwined with fucking Disney characters. AKA Kingdom Hearts.
Bring back Hironobu Sakaguchi & the Squaresoft staff and start making those great stories once again.

- His name is Noctis as "wengmugmug" has said, plus I highly doubt they'll be making it for the Xbox 360 what so ever since the FF series IS featured through the PS (Not saying I hate the 360) and that they are wanting to perfect that feeling of reality within' the game(play). As for the gameplay itself, its said that it has the same (or atleast similar) gameplay to Kingdom Hearts, which will be very interesting to see :D ~

Noctis and Sasuke are nothing alike. Sasuke did not have hovering weapons nor did he have telekinetic powers. The red eyes is just a coincidence, it could mean something dark within Noctis. Sasuke was an emo, Noctis isn't, Noctis is badass and epicness incarnate. End of Story.

I heard this is going to be on the Wii, and you are only allowed to buy the game if your teacher comes with you and certifies you as being top belt/grade in several recognised martial arts. @zackfair73195 sorry to break your heart but, they do infact, look very much alike. otherwise no one would be pointing it out. if sasuke, were to be remodeled or 3-d rendered, as Noctis is, the similarities would be even greater. they basically have the same style hair; spiked bangs, long on the sides, spiked bush in the back. they've got the same face structure. both their eyes go red. they're both pale. they practically dress the same (popped collar, etc) they're personalities, both mysterious
