@dablommer2010 I never took video from inside the bus. Greyhound rules tells that you cannot shoot video or pictures of bus operations, but I had seen people taking video of the outside views.
greyhound is cool i been to alot of places on greyhound san jose to anahiem and back again and san jose to williasmburg va to sightsee and in 97 i went fron san jose to chicago and back agian it was an intgeresitn scererty u have the sierra nevadas and the rockies to a point but u dont get to see then much on that run
actually in 2 weeks im riding a greyhound from MIssouri to NY. its gonna be little over a day on that bus. Im a little nervous since its my first time. have any advice?
@cool3be Well, is going to be a little hard on the first night, if you can relax at night, while the bus is in motion. But the experience is great! At least is not a 3 nights trip like I did in my videos! Just make sure that you can have something to keep you busy, like a music player or radio with headsets, or if you have, an I-Phone to keep you online. Maybe the bus has WI-FI, so laptops are good. Enjoy!
@caa1000 all im bringing with me is my zune but ill be fine. i have to take 4 transfers but they are only an hour long. the longest transfer is in Syracuse,NY but my family is going to pick me up there.
i'm going to go from Fort Lauderdale to Ontario in June...i'm getting excited but a little bit afraid too...it seems really tired. Does anybody have any advise for me?
Patience is key for a great Greyhound experience. Not faster than a plane, but if you are willing to spend at least 2 night inside the bus, you are good to go.
I just finished following your trip. Thanks for posting it. This would have to have been quite an experience. Kind of puts my 1850 mile ride look like an afternoon's outing. Interesting to see the "Empty Quarter" like this.
Wow man you must have been in alot of places on that trip 3 days and 6 hours that's no joke specially when going back home i've been on trips on Greyhound buses from Toronto to Miami FL that have lasted for 2 days and way too many stops. And when we got to NY it was a 3 hours to tranfer to another bus.How many Greyhound buses did you have to tranfer to from Seattle WA to Orlando FL?
On this trip, the average waiting was less than 1 hour. The transfer in Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta was up to 2 hours. It was 3 transfers I did. The Seattle to Chicago portion had no transfers and the wait was up to 1 hour. Just check the entire trip for the experience!
going from miami to newark i had to take like 3 buses. left downtown miami then switched in rielegh nc and then switch in norfolk va and then my stop in ewark.. took for ever
I have had no choice but to travel Greyhound (my fear of driving somewhere far) and I must say I enjoy it! Sometimes you have to deal with weird people or even smell ppl who have been on the buses for days but the conversation can be fun sometimes. GOGREYHOUND!
A shame Greyhound doesn't allow people to shoot video or photos anymore...
