  • Great video :-)

  • @MmaBoss1989 , thank you..

  • Hmm, I have a freshwater aquarium and I tried keeping both for a period... but they didn't seem to do well. I thought I heard you could actually place them in damp soil. I have not tried anything like that, but my water garden is full of them (been tossing them out to free up the surface) so I can experiment.

  • @wonderboy2402 please do try and let us know , I haven't tried growing them in soil, and I understand about tossing them I hear that all the time.. :)

  • Any further advice on these since you uploaded? I have a water garden filled with these guys, and I would like to just overwinter maybe 3 or 4 clumps of both the water lettuce and Hyacinth.

  • @wonderboy2402 , well, water movement, good lighting and warmth.. they seem to be a little trickier indoors..

  • @GulfCoastJaguarundi , the lettuce are doing better it seems than the hyacinth. I am getting may baby lettuces which seem to be doing pretty good.. thanks for commenting..:) and yes try it next season and see how it goes for you..

  • I really enjoyed this video. Love the info.

  • @SleestaksRule , so glad it helped you.. it was fun to make..
