When are you haters going to realize that most people like this new shape of cars? like the new Insight and the Prius.

Maybe is time to make our Personal car!

With no to many part to make a electric car, maybe someday someone could just make a easy car to make. And the real Problem is, what happen is every country just to decide to make their own electric car.

Like the Mixim and the ZEO, this is a horrible looking car. To me this particular one looks like a ball of snot with wheels pushed into it. Why don't we put this technology into normal cars. Watching the car co.s treat us (me) this way makes me so angry I almost want to put all this hi-tec stuff into a corolla and drive round like a normal person, WHILE not paying for gas!!

Big Oil and the Auto Indrusty 'leaders' do not want vehicles with very little maintenance and excellent fuel efficiency. That is why most vehicles still have the same problems and worthless fuel economy as their predecessors from 25-30 years ago. Change the face of the vehicle, add flashy electronics, and leave the guts of the beast alone. Most automakers are not pursuing true Electric cars, because they make a KILLING on replacement parts and maintenance for combustion-engines.

Yea and whats unfortunate is that the economic situation of every country that embraces the technology will sky rocket meanwhile we will recess... shame.... (USA)

Unfortunately, although it is capable of running for a short time solely on electric power... it uses a combustion engine to recharge the battery. It's just another hybrid when all is said and done... nothing special.

The ZAP-X from ZAP and Lotus will absolutely KILL vehicles like this. 644 BHP, 350 mile range, 10 minute recharge time, 5 seats, full-time all wheel drive, and better mileage-equivalent than any hybrid. No oil changes, and 90% less maintenance than a combustion-engine.
