I reckon all this rehab he`s doin is just a media grab for his sponsors. He seemed to be movin round okay in the chopper.Hes a washed up exFuel Racer tryin to squeeze it for every drop.imao
That was involuntary movement, mostly quivering, the body's shock reflex to pain. He has a long way to recover, a compound fracture takes a long time to heal, he also has a deep to the bone cut on his knee with tendon damage, a broken right foot, broken left wrist, & broken fingers on each hand. I've seen firsthand a lot of wrecks, he's lucky to be alive. A person can die from heart
I was at the race on 9-23-07 and just arrived home. At the track they played (1) video about 3 hours after the accident and did not replay it. Texas Motorplex should be ashamed by not running the replay sooner and often at the track. EVERYONE at the track was upset by the lack of information provided by the Texas Motorplex after the incident. They lost alot of future ticket sales including mine by censoring this mishap to paying customers at the track.
cherylsteve, don't blame the track! At NHRA national events the tracks do not control the Motel 6 screen or the PA system -- it's the NHRA's fault for not telling you guys over the PA, and the Motel 6 screen production truck for not showing the video... probably at the request of the NHRA. I feel for you and the frustration, but please don't boycott the track based on that. :)
They played a angle of the race from the far end of the track once .. just once.
When it comes to racing at the Texas Motorplex if you want complete coverage do not buy a ticket you are better off at home.
I had to make phone calls to know what took place concerning this accident... and they knew more than the spectators at the track... does that seem appropriate?
On Sunday on the big screen at the track they played a angle of the race from the far end of the track camera once, just once hours after the incident, only after people at home already have viewed the video on television.
When it comes to the Texas Motorplex in my opinion if you want complete coverage DO NOT buy a ticket you are better off at home.
Individuals away from the track knew more than the spectators at the track.
I don't understand why they don't put a barrier wall between the two lanes...
