the Last note was both Kyla's and Rachelle's. The bigger and louder headtone (hence operatic) belongs to Rachelle, but the higher and thinner one belongs to Kyla. Their headtones compliment each other. But for me, Kyla's headtone is more relaxed, freer and current. RAG is more dramatic and most of the time operatic.

Kudos for both of them.I think kyla is more on chest voice here while rachelle is more on head voice.Grabe ang high notes ni rachelle and kyla's runs/riffs and melisma truly exceptional.Wake up GMA and VIVA! Puno na nmin ang araneta and waiting for your approval ba nagconcert sila together.
@jmynify I prefer Rachelle's G#5 in her solo performance of SOTR more, way more resonant and powerful. :) But this one is undeniably great! and so is Kyla :)

Whatever note they hit, this performance they did is stellar. They sang the song effortlessly, but with full emotions. They are just so professional, for they do not outshine one another when they sing even if they are hitting hig notes. They are just so pleasant to watch. SHINKY TO ARANET THIS 2012... Come on GMA and VIVA... This would definitely gibe you big revenues!
The best tandem by young divas wala kang makikitang sapawan coz they support and respect each other. I was blown with Rachelle Ann's sustained G#5 note here she just hit it with power and freedom like Regine and i believe she can go higher than that..Kyla's crescendo F#5 is also superb. Mag concert na kayo sa Araneta ShinKy!

the vocal highlights for me here are: Rachelle's G#5 (mixed voice), Kyla's cresendo and her vibratto F#5 (chest), kyla's low notes at 3:35 and her B5 (head tone) in the end.

Basta hndi big thing sakin yung last note kahit alam ko ky Kyla yun and im a fan of Rachelle Ann though i like them both..coz i know Rachelle can hit that B5 via operatic headvoice pero yung G#5 chest voice nya dito is just as amazing as Regine sobrang galing she hit it with vocal freedom very powerful pa..yung B5 nman ni Kyla sobrang smooth tlga.both are amazing.Now,beat this tandem!

oa naman... Pag si rachelle ann ang nabigyan ng part na ginawa ni kyla baka sabihing nanapaw si Rachelle. Narinig ko live yung version ni rachelle ng kantang ito at yung ginawa nya sa pataas na part after ng I love you part, sobrang kakaiba, hindi pa-sweet ang version ni Rachelle pero kikilabutan ka dahil parang may kaluluwang kumakanta.

So halos pareho lang ang R&B at SCATTING. Ang gusto ko lang kay Kyla ang pagkanta niya ng Barbra Streisand songs - dun siya NAIIBA.

FIRST, A LOT OF SINGERS HAVE THEIR OWN VERSION OF THIS SONG SO KYLA DEFINITELY DOESN'T OWN THIS SONG. BOTH RACHELLE AND KYLA DID THEIR OWN UNIQUE VERSIONS OF THIS IF YOU'D JUST SEARCH YOUTUBE. SECOND, YES IT'S KYLA WHO HIT THE HIGH NOTE IN THE END BUT WAS "COMPLIMENTED" AND "PROFESSIONALLY HARMONIZED" BY RACHELLE ANN GO'S LOWER NOTE. BOTH DID GREAT IN THIS SONG AND DIDN'T OVERSHADOW NOR UPSTAGE EACH OTHER.

Kyla' F#5 is also incredible with her ever famous signature VIBRATTO..
That B5 at the end belongs to Kyla.. You can hear rachelle singing at a lower key, the movement of her mouth when she sang it like "tru-wu" clearly shows she sang with the lower key. These two amazing DIVAS deserves more than just Araneta.. They should be given opportunities abroad.. Filipino Pride

the Last note was both Kyla's and Rachelle's. The bigger and louder headtone (hence operatic) belongs to Rachelle, but the higher and thinner one belongs to Kyla. Their headtones compliment each other. But for me, Kyla's headtone is more relaxed, freer and current. RAG is more dramatic and most of the time operatic.

Whatever note they hit, this performance they did is stellar. They sang the song effortlessly, but with full emotions. They are just so professional, for they do not outshine one another when they sing even if they are hitting hig notes. They are just so pleasant to watch. SHINKY TO ARANET THIS 2012... Come on GMA and VIVA... This would definitely gibe you big revenues!

The best tandem by young divas wala kang makikitang sapawan coz they support and respect each other. I was blown with Rachelle Ann's sustained G#5 note here she just hit it with power and freedom like Regine and i believe she can go higher than that..Kyla's crescendo F#5 is also superb.
